I'm a little disappointed that this is the example of the game you guys had to work with! To me this looks like an offline raid with bots and AI warfare turned on. This isn't exactly indicative of what the actual gameplay is like when you are against other players and/or in a group with players. Another note is that the person playing the game seemed to be new or unfamiliar with the controls, hotkeys, and gameplay in general. Either way - game is great but has a very far way to go before it's finished

This is a pretty poor example of Tarkov. This guy is just fighting A.I. Which is a different experience than fighting other PMCs. And the gold coin is a GP coin which is just a barter item in the game worth about 30k roubles in game.

This must be an older clip of the game, because in the newer version they improved on the weight system. If you carry too much, you won't be able to sprint for too long, and you'll lose stamina by walking. They seriously exaggerated the weight system in the newer versions of the game, just for your knowledge.

The absolute hardest thing about this game is learning where the extractions are. The gunplay is pretty fun. I got seriously shot up, but wasn't unconscious yet, and still managed to shottie several dudes.

The basic premise of the game is to go to 'Tarkov' and loot stuff that might help you for the next raid or sell for money. Once you think you looted enough, you need to 'Escape From Tarkov' by going to extraction points. This gameplay you watched is offline A.I. It's not even close to what the online experience is.

The reason for him carrying so much gear is because he wants to sell it if he manages to escape from the raid alive. It's gamey sure, but that's kind of the point of the game aside from just capping dudes. You collect items, sell them to other players or NPC's and use those funds to buy other items or upgrade your hideout. It's a pretty fun game. Better with a group for most people.

This is the hardest game I’ve ever played. Each round has a different trajectory, every aspect of weight and ergo actually changes the way you move and sway, so many different tactics, the gun modding is the most extensive I’ve ever seen. Beautiful experience, terrifying.

I love how each time they react to this game it seems like the gameplay is gradually getting better. Currently the game is basically a realism type looter shooter. Though there are ALOT of plans for the game here's some to name a few: A karma system (which will dissuade you from unnecessary killing), weapon overheating/malfunctions (stovepipe, feed fail, etc.), more adjustments to the ingame economy (GP coins can only be used now to buy stuff from the traders not other players, same with bitcoins). That's a short list but the game is dope, maps are huge (except factory) and they plan to make it so you can transition from one map to the other seamlessly.

So the difference here guys is that in the real world you have stockpiles of weapons, in escape from Tarkov everything you strip off of people in the raids are the gear you get to use so that's why he's stripping a shit load of weapons and taking them and also mags. And yes the heavier your armor, and I ventory are the less quickly you'll run. The less high you'll jump, the slower you'll be able to turn yourself around, or get up from a prone position. There was a reason he had all that stuff Patrick 😀
