As a retired 160th Little Bird guy, the detail in the cockpit is amazing. Just fyi, we don’t call the external seats benches, we call them “pods”. It would be cool to see two or four of these flying in formation. Takes me back, even though I still work with these birds every day. NSDQ!

Years later, I am mindblown by the quality of this simulation: the sounds, the ambiance, etc. And flying heli in ARMA 3 is hard as hell! (makes pilots precious ; I cannot do it, not even in Squad.)

@@AimBitX squad has the worst flight model ive tried personally, it's not comparable, the flight models in dcs are VERY accurate not to mention the systems and instruments etc...etc the fidelity is again, not comparable as it's extreme in dcs.

Yes my favorite modern helicopter! (My number 1 fav is the Cayuse) :). As a pilot in VR (game I fly in is VR Chat) helicopters are always fun to fly even though I manly fly jets. The Little Bird is so nice to fly!

Great vid! I know yall arent military in most aspects but I heard some individuals with very passable radio etiquette. Loved the use of "say again" instead of "repeat" and "BREAK" though it could have used a slight pause as it give people time to understand/ write down what they said. One suggestion I would say purely because I heard it quite a few times is "Copy Copy". This is basically the equivalent to saying "I understand, I understand" or "i understand that you understand", how the flow usually goes after someone talks to you over comms and asks for a "how copy" you can usually state who you are and that you acknowledge in some way "Drewski Copy, little bird-1 copy, or even just Copy if youre working with a familiar group. I know its fun and games though but if you wanted to take it to the next level. Same for saying "over there" or "right here" I know I got a few good ass chewings calling in 9lines drills irl for describing locations vs actual coordinates. Great fun, cheers!
