I think one of the most iconic moments in the Chinese industry is that they made Idol Producer into its existence. Everything was perfect from the mentors to trainees to performances. At last, Nine Percent was formed, and until now, its members are very respectable and known in the industry. Nine Percent is the most legendary group from Chinese produce shows and no one has ever come close to them. Until now, all members are everywhere being more successful and making a higher reputation in all kinds of art in the industry; the show and the group formed are still hailed and set as an example of a boygroup. Simply, there is something about Nine Percent as a whole that is very remarkable and legendary.

idol producer really have the best caliber of trainees and the best top9. they had top tier vocalists (nongnong, zhangjing), rappers (xiao gui), dancers (ziyi), and aces. i wasn't there during their active years but I heard how iqiyi fucked them up.most of their careers are thriving now so I think there wouldn't be a reunion coming but it's nice to hope

@@riyaislam7152 if im not mistaken, iqiyi did not properly promote them and give them enough opportunities to work as a group. there werent enough platforms to showcase their talents as an idol group, iqiyi's management is not consistent and mostly using nine percent's reputation and fame to gain 💵. istg i know nine percent could offer more, but they werent promoted fairly. the fans are the only ones who really boosted them up, not iqiyi

Yuehua entertainment debuted NEXT a few weeks or months after Nine percent, which included everyone from Yuehua who participated in Idol Producer. Nine percent had 2 Yuehua member, who were at the same time NEXT members.
