Synthetic drugs some of which are extremely dangerous came about due to the prohibition of soft illegal drugs(cannabis,ecstasy and Hallucinogens) which are far less damaging to oneself and society than the legal drugs Tobacco and Alcohol.Hope something constructive and positive comes out of this citizens assembly on drugs which is ongoing at the moment.
