I remember 1968. I was a young mother and wife, just 21. It was a true horror story and I cried a lot. Everything had a bad and disruptive feeling. Yes, this year has the same feeling. I will be happy when it's over. I felt it all coming last year feeling. I'm older and more understanding, so tears don't come as easily, but uneasiness does and I can't wait until it's over.

One of the clearest talks I’ve ever heard Rick do. Totally complete. My birthday is August 20, 1945, in 2023 at11:45 pm my birthday Hurricane Hilery23 Flash Flooded my twin and our home. We lost everything including our 2cars , over 3feet of water and mud flooded into our house as we climbed out of bed in darkness. Hope we don’t have a repeat 😢. I also had the opportunity to meet Lois Rodden right before she passed away .what a sweet soul, I spent an hour with her and, she was surprised I knew who she was. Great work she left us with.

i agree. i'm trying to find good strategies for receiving the info. I think part of what's happening is one's own Brain Exercise. Receiving , flooded, as he mentions, a field being flooded & fertilized for the first time. If the field is bone dry with not much living in it, as if sprayed with rounD-Up or something, well forget it. But if one has done some good work to make the brain flexible (using meditation, listening to other excellent speakers on topics of interest, and high vibration), then the nutrients needed will sink in & be used. Ready for more. I emailed the link to myself, thinking if i want to listen again, i'll find it in "the file". Took a few notes, right in the calendar PP. I'm not an astrologer, but have a good sense of it - for a lay person. He's easy to follow. He explains degrees & things. listening to Rick this morning will feed into my yoga practice later today, and to whatever my yoga teacher might say. The idea of multi-faceted but focused points.

He’s telling a story and building to the climax. He shares the details up front because they all have value and play an important role in the big picture. If he was a comedian, he wouldn’t tell the punchline up front and then explain how he got there. It’s the same principle. I am somewhat of a beginner in learning astrology, so I find it a bit challenging to follow him as well. I love how explains everything, though, and appreciate his communication style because of how much passion and energy he gives to his audience.

thank you Rick for making the effort to try to interpret a storyline out of these aspects or at least in some way connect the dots … My biggest issue with Astrology at the moment is that although we have so much access to so much information, I very often feel like I have a lot of ingredients and I have no idea what to make with them or how to make it. I think this is the kind of integrating / synthesizing / interpreting astrological interpretation that is sorely needed now -- really helpful for both people who listen to a lot of astrological content and for newcomers. Many of us are very interested but NOT going to become professional Astrologers -- so we need professional Astrologers who can help us connect the dots exactly like this. Thoroughly enjoyed this episode. The analogy that astrology is like an early warning system (I e. tsunami warning or earthquake warning, etc) really resonates. If people are warned and have time to prepare (at the very least mentally) it is a great advantage... In the very least, it is a comfort, to have the mental peace to know ahead of time what's coming. I really appreciate Rick's wider picture approach to astrology. How it's a long storyline and we are experiencing a tiny snippet of it.

Personally and professionally and locally and globally. I’m Scorpio Moon too and boy has it been and still is, a constant rollercoaster ride. Thank you Rick. I am 77 so yes, I remember the Democratic convention in 68. The police hosing the young protestors against the war in Vietnam was paradigm shifting for me! I left the Democratic party and became no party affiliation because I felt so betrayed by the party politics of my parents. I have grown immensely since then and for this upcoming convention Full Moon et al, I am simply choosing LOVE and ONENESS. I am heartened that Vesta is exactly conjunct the Sun. The Regulus conjunction to the Sun with Regulus just moved into Virgo sure feels good to me as the "Queenmaker". In the Venus T-square I am joyous that Orcus is conjunct Venus and what I call the ascension asteroids of Paradise and Pan are conjunct Jupiter Mars. It is my prayer that Harris / Walz LISTEN to the protestors and use these oppositions to co-create a new inclusive quantum wave of political intention as you said instead of the exclusive Democratic either / or Newtonian discord within their party. I will hold the vision for their highest response and outcomes. The potential is certainly there for a wonderful new outcome from these two T-squares during the Pluto return of the USA.

I was only 14 in Jan 1968 and my family moved from Brooklyn (previously Queens and the Bronx) to what was 'farm land' upstate N.Y. (W. Nyack-now typical suburbia). We had 3 channels on the TV, no radio and at 14 I was clueless about Chicago till I was 17 or so. But I later met new friends who were there. One friend/colleage became a paraplegic during the drive there/back (sleeping in back seat and thrown forward and tore spine). He passed a couple years ago in his late 60s from organ dysfunction complications. He was the kind of person who just accepted 'things' and got on with his life, even swimming the English channel etc. He was a Cancer/moon Taurus/Capricorn rising. One of the most patient and accepting people I've ever known. So that's my 1968 'story'.

I am so glad to reconnect with Mr. Levin. We once had an interesting conversation about Fixed Strs at a meeting is Seattle, back in late 90’s or early ‘00s. The events beginning July 13 were so incomprehensible I had to run charts. It has been,as Mr Levine so eloquently details a wild ride of cycles coming to inflection points. I particularly like the Venus cycle which began its Superior (evening star) conjunction cycle with it’s passage of the Sun at the Celestial Longitude of Aldebaran, and it’s subsequence reappearance in the evening sky with the Fixed Star Regulus along with the Moon and Mercury added! This Venus/Moon conjunction is quite important and its series is noted and explained by Daniel Giamario. It is interesting to note that Regulus is the star on Trumps Asc. I feel Harris, with her Natal Jupiter at 24 Taurus is going to continue to be the beneficiary of these huge waves of energy at this inflection point in history. I am glad I have found this podcast as it adds so much depth to the understanding of the current transits.

Duuude!! 😂 EVERY single astrologer I trust and admire most, on par and now including Rick Merlin, has "accidentally" called the Aquarius full moon a new moon during this Mercury Rx. And I think there's something to that! I mean, every single one?! It's gotta be a wink from the stars letting us know this illumination will feel more like a reset than a culmination 🙌🏼✨️❤️‍🔥

Yikes. I was totally unaware of this. Could you share the time in the video where I misspoke? I'm not doubting you because I've been known to have a brain fart like this too often. I think it's the price I pay for thinking faster than I can talk (Mercury in Aries with Gemini rising). Nevertheless, I do think there's something very unusual about this Aquarian FULL (not New) Moon yet at this point, only time will tell. 🙏

@RickLevine in your case, maestro, Amanda corrected you in the moment so no biggie. But Molly McCord, Tim Halloran, Nadiyah Shah, and I believe 2 others I can't recall did not have the benefit of an interviewer to catch it & none of them managed to hear themselves say it multiple times. Really striking me as a standout synchronicity but maybe cuz I'm Aquarius & this set up is hitting all my natal astro directly so I'm sensitive 🫠
