I have a 16 race red GT Mustang. Owned it for 5.5 years. Love it. Drove many state side, mostly S197s but was lucky enough to get a GT rental in 2015 before they came out over here. I was sold on it there and then. The Americans pay far more attention and comment on the cars over there. I had a Challenger a few years back and received 8 comments in 18 days. I've probably had that in the years I've owned mine over here. You get those trying to race or give dirty looks in their BMW or Audis. I don't care, as only the Mustang owner knows how they make you feel. Great video. Thank you.

Just took delivery of my '19' GT a couple of weeks ago, doing 33mpg on motorway but as soon as you get off the average seems to sink to around 25/26. Having said that - my 2.8 Capri years ago only did around 22 mpg on a good day. Doesn't really matter anyway because I'm grinning from ear to ear every moment I'm driving it.

Mine averaged 33 mpg on a trip from Bristol to Cornwall yesterday, when cruising at 70 mph it went up to 38 mpg but the overall average was brought down to 33 because the M5 was like a car park at times. Driving around town I average 20 mpg but yeah, 'fun' drives get down to close to single figures, So, massive variablity on mpg. Great review of a great car.

What's great about the presenter? Another reviewer that knows nothing about American cars(as usual!). Mustangs are too common, and their drivers are jealous of my Camaro as they know they are better! Camaros had better looks, bigger engine, bigger wheels, better safety-rating, better handling, etc. When I first had it it was crazy with people hanging out their cars/people ask- ing to take phots, etc. Only one Mustang driver has acknowledged me in nearly 5 years, and that was an older classic one! Small car drivers hate it, as they can't really afford a car, and bigger car drivers hate it as it is different, and not a clone car!
