I'm kind of curious where the cost comparison of $36,000 per person to do nothing compared to around $12,500 or so to provide permanent housing assistance comes from. I googled it, found where the figure came from, and it seems to be pulled from a consolidation of 20 studies around the United States who have transitioned toward a government subsidized model. I have to say though, I didn't have the time to open each study, but I still struggled to find exactly where they were pulling those figures. Regardless, I appreciate the direction we are heading, but I do worry about the funding and unfortunately the messaging, because folks love to spread misinformation because it's easier than doing the research. I'm hopeful but apprehensive.

Compassion Strategies Founder and CEO: Barry Feaker Board of Director's: Gary Starr, President Mike Lesser, Vice President Miriam Krehbiel, Secretary Mary Thomas, Treasurer Is this the same company as Compassion Strategies, Inc., which is filed under the resident agent Community Resources Council, Inc. and filed 4/18/2022? Is Gary Starr the owner of Gary's Berries that is/was in trouble for dumping into Kansas River? If so, that's a sad shame.

A FOOTBALL FIELD...WOW. Mr. Barry Feaker you've expressed how many time's and how often during your time at the Rescue Mission about this issue???? City paid Sylver $76,000 for help with homeless and here you are AGAIN. Is your presentation based on the recommendations of Sylver???? Thank goodness they didn't use a football and field during their work strategy presentation. Please explain how you concluded the number's in your presentation. Who are the 8 partners? Should have BEGAN this BEFORE IT hit a major crisis.
