I like that the interviewer always gives them time to finish their sentence instead of finishing it for them. Even while Abi was taking a long time to say the word “friend” and even though she made an F noise indicating that’s what she wanted to say the interviewer didn’t interrupt and finish her sentence for her. He just waited patiently for her to do it. I think when people do that they think they’re helping but I’d imagine it’d be frustrating to never be able to finish a sentence because other people are too impatient.

After watching halfway through the video and hearing that their son goes to George Mason, I knew that I must have actually known her! GMU is roughly 20 minutes from my house, and I remembered passing by a small group of blind students every once in a while when I went to middle school. I distinctly remember how light Abi's eyes were in comparison to her skin and being quite a fascinated 12 year old. Sure enough, after checking my middle school yearbook, I found both Jesse and Abi were in it! They were a year older than me which may be why I don't remember much other than the halls, but it's crazy that I went to school with them! I had no idea that they were siblings or about how many siblings they had in their family, it really is incredible. Thank you for sharing their story!

The students that aren't setting with their backs to the Camara all their faces are blurred. They most certainly could have sat at the same table with their faces blurred. EVERYONE should take lessons from all of the kids on every interview.

Imagine being blind and having two of the most amazingly beautiful inside and out parents in the world! Don't ask me how this video came on autoplay but I was not able to touch my computer screen since my hands were being used in chemicals so I was listening the whole time and didn't get to look at the screen until the very end and here I see this amazingly gorgeous woman and her beautiful husband so lovingly feeding a child! Yes I burst out in tears!

I love this family. They are very real, they talk about real issues in a lot of their youtube videos. Honestly, watching all of their videos and other SBSK has inspired me to want to adopt a child in need of a family in the future when I become financially stable.

The last sequence in the day, where it focused on Hannah before ending the video: - Chris: Do you think the world is a good place? Hannah: Of course. Yes it is. Chris: Why? Hannah: Because in my world, everything sounds so happy. - It made me teared up to hear her say that, because it really just show even through troubles or difficulties, she's a happy person, and likes who she is as a person and what she enjoys. Being constantly surrounded with negativity of family and peers and bearing the burden of many people's stressors and sad/tragic events (openly so, I chose this and absolutely willing to stick by their side), it made me glad there are happy people out there : ) this video was a joy to watch, do not regret at all having it appear on my frontpage.

My favourite part of this video aside from Hannah's laughter, Abi's singing & Jesse's dancing was right at the very end when Chris asked Hannah if she thought the world was a good place & she said yes, it is because everything sounds so happy in my world ~ it's beautiful, heartwarming & a testament to the environment that their parents have provided for them to grow up in 💖

You know, people will spend thousands to have genetic children and refuse adoption. If they are decent enough to be open to adoption, they are often picky. This couple posessss such beautiful souls, they genuinely love these kids you can tell. It cannot be an easy life, but is Is a life enriched by love. Just beautiful.

Most people cannot afford to raise disabled childrenor they don’t have the time to take care of them because of their work. Even if people want to adopt disabled children, there are many reasons why they can’t.

I'm not sure how or why I ended up getting recommended this video, but I am so happy I decided to watch it. Their story, their lives and how they move on together as a team through life, and their outlook on the world, despite their circumstances, makes me so happy for everything I have and take for granted, and I am so happy that they've managed to create a family and the love they all have for each other, including those incredible foster parents.

Yes, these children are able, not disabled, as a completely blind woman myself advocating and showing that we are able is my goal. Just because we are born differently does not mean we can not learn such as the rest. I was not born blind, but had my sight taken. I’m here to say we can, we will prove ourselves. We are not blind but we have blindness. It’s not us or who we are

These foster parents are amazing people not only loving and taking care of their children with special needs but also dealing with their jobs and also their own relationship is incredible. The world we live in is so amazing. For as many bad and terrible things in this life there are just as many if not even so many more absolutely astonishing things. Life is wild and we all are just along for the ride.
