The addition of Mage's Attendant means you don't need to run green to fill out your party I've found. I've actually made a passable mono-white party deck but blue -white with trapfinder and concerted defense works best for me so far. I might try splashing black for coveted prize too.

Any particular reason to not use Journey to Oblivion in this deck? I know it’s kinda hard to run noncreatures in a party deck, but maybe as a 2 of? The problem of course comes with what to cut, but it would be nice to have something to deal with problematic creatures, it works especially well against Brutal Cathar
@LegenVD2 жыл бұрын
Started with a few removal spells (Journey and Alliance) but eventually had to cut them. As you said it's tough to include non-creatures unless they draw more cards, which is a reason to play some Blue.
@FrostedBagel2 жыл бұрын
@@LegenVD ended up cutting a Luminarch Aspirant and an Extraction Specialist to include it, I was running into too many decks that ran brutal cathar or some other large threat that needed answering before the party was assembled, and definitely helped there, Extraction Specialist seemed a bit clunky, as there is so much exile based removal in the set that I felt as if I never had anything to reanimate. if anything, a one of (Journey) is really useful in combination with coveted prize, being able to tutor it in emergency situations.

15:04 wacky game! I think you actually still had the ability to sack both of your wizard tokens to counter the Emperor, since you'd be left with 8 2+ power attackers to the opponents 6 blockers. It ended up not mattering in the end, since they were dead no matter what as you noted. Unrelated, I've heard rogues finally has a chance to shine again in Explorer after dominating standard for so long and then just disappearing entirely. Is there any patreon love for Exploring Rogues?

(Love your content 💜) At 7:58 you draw TWO double cards. That's a very low chance. Immediately after when you mulligan, you draw two double cards AGAIN. Something is *seriously* wrong with MTGA shuffler. I notice it gets extremely clunky when playing anything above two color. I'm getting very tired of having to constantly mulligan decks that shouldn't be having any issues like that.
