Its amazing how a decade after I bought my cross country bike the performance and weight hardly changed much. Considering my setup is the old triple crank, I got my racebike down to 23lbs. Love the aliexpress grips tho, i got the same :D

Tip for getting grips on easily. Use hair spray. Helps slide it on then helps it stick after

Kelvin Bastow we've already tried everything. For "us", the best and fastest way is to wind the handles with the compressor. They also sit tight afterwards.

I thoought the same, but in the car industry, torque to spec works like xft-lbs and then a quarter turn, in this case its a BB so it can be put on a bit tighter than recommended.. maybe......

Hello people, do not worry there was nothing too tightly dressed. Our park tool torque wrench had a small accident. The torque wrench from the video only goes up to + -45NM. The DUB bearing goes up to 50NM and the crank is up to 54NM.

Well that is a dream build. Love my Epic but it being "only" a Comp Carbon it weighs 12 kilos (with pedals and non tubeless). 9.32 kilos would be something else. Then again, this bike probably costs about $10k and mine $4.5k.

Noah Golly it is a very good XC bike. The new brain that came with the 2018 variant of the Epic is very good and makes the bike a very solid pedaling platform.

I prefer to set up cockpit completely before sizing hoses. i guess its not as important when you dont have shift cables involved.
