I have an Specialized S-Works Roubaix SL4 2016 Rim Brakes (MEN'S STUFF) With 53-39 11/28 DURA-ACE 9100 and VITTORIA ELUSION 42C, and all i have to say is: I BEAT ANY TARMAC AND VENGE, hahaha! Roubaix is perfect. Stiff, bealty, VERY CONFORT, for 3hr+ rides .. and with 28mm tires ... SHIT DAMN! Baby, is like a Panzer, hahhaha ... i have many tarmacs .. (sl3, sl4 .. sl5) and, since i ride my friend roubaix (before i thought that roubaix is a old mens bike) so, since a ride it, I LOVE it, can't whait to test and ride one of these 2020 version with future shock 2.0 and lock/in/off stuff .. well.. my sl4 is amazing .. but with rigid seatspot, sworks .. no with CGR .. well, i have 7.350gr in the bike .. not bad for a endurance bike right? and it can get lower .. the vittoria 42 are 1.606gr .. but they are good .. with roval CLX and another tires, and handlebar tape, etc .. get below 7kg easy .. se ya mates, roubaix is GOOD STUFF

What kind of suspension is there in steerer tube?
@vomErsten4 жыл бұрын
Specialized FutureShock, in this bike in its v2.0 guise. The 2.0 is a damped shock for the cockpit with adjustments between full-squish and locked out so that rough terrain doesn't transmit the harsh vibrations up to the arms. Lower-end models use the v1.5 which doesn't have the damping or the adjustment wheel, but does allow the user the swap out springs to find the amount of squish they like. Specialized also uses this in the Diverge gravel bikes.

Not to geek out too much but the Team Roubaix in this video has almost the same geo as the Tarmac actually- the standard Roubaix has less aggressive geo. I just bought this frame last week:)

This is made for the Roubaix, but with the appropriate shim (it may be included), you can fit other stems with a 1 1/8 inch internal diameter.

Roubaixs use threaded BBs, mechanics rejoice!
@vomErsten4 жыл бұрын
@@yongling9825 I'm struggling to think of a Specialized road bike that does NOT use a threaded BB off the top of my head. Allez, Venge, Tarmac, Roubaix...I think they all use threaded now. Even the Diverge I think is threaded.
@yongling98254 жыл бұрын
@@vomErsten Nope, among those four you mentioned, only the Allez, Roubaix (all levels) and the Tarmac (base level only, FACT 9r carbon) use threaded BBs and yes, the Diverge is using threaded BBs again, even for the S-Works Diverge.
