I hate it when kids can kick my ass at riding. I need to learn to kick out the rear wheel about a corner, how do you do that? Can it be done with clipless pedals?

Put pressure on the outside pedal pressing downward and place pressure on the opposing side of the handlebar. So if you are making a left turn press down on the right pedal and press on the left side of your handlebar. Try and lower your saddle height as well because a lower center of gravity will lend itself towards hard cornering.

Come ride whit me Why is that? Please don't try to tell me you knew everything there is to bike riding without ever being shown or having to practice because that is complete BS. I hope yo are not one of these ignorant people who watch some guys trail ride video then comment below because its not the A Line or he is taking easy trails because everyone starts a the same point, not knowing anything and learning to become better and it pisses me off when someone puts down anyone because they arent at some arbitrary level that you personally think people should be. If there is a particular skill I have that you do not I am not going to make judgement calls because that attitude is a dick move. There will always be someone better than the next guy, that is just a reality, if someone can do something you can't I doubt they are going to be a dick about it. I have been riding for years and simply never saw the need to kick my wheel out. So watching this video I thought it can help with corners and asked someone for tips, seems like a pretty logical thing to do.Your attitude belongs with the stereotype of uptight roadies. Something us mountain bikers were proud not to be. Actually I have found many roadies to be chill and ironically the most uptight are BMX where people get shit for having the wrong coloured bike FFS. That really surpried me but ,in their defense, maybe because they are mostly teens.

I am troubled by this video coming out of a manufacturer... I've got 43 years of road biking, 35 years of mountain biking, and 30 years of long distance touring behind me. I have also have been heavily involved with projects to build trails, rail trails, Complete Streets solutions, Safe Routes to School solutions, and have provided feedback and assistance to engineering firms, those developing long distance mapped bicycle routes and large club rides. Why am I troubled by the video? Because the disrespectful stunts these riders portray (i.e., harassing bystanders) have been one of the biggest hurdles I face in helping get buy-in from government officials, foundation and trust funding sources, and communities. The actions of a small minority of bad actors are noticed and getting those images out of stakeholders' minds is a tough sell. There are 10s of millions of dollars in play just in my county... IT IS A BIG DEAL! National Geographic's December 2016 issue has an article about our efforts. Specialized needs to rethink this video... The video would have been even better without the harassing stunts and without them it wouldn’t set a bad example. BTW, those kids can ride!
