Glad to see you back on the road, my Friend. Fenders have a very modern look to them, I like that! I've been thinking about getting the Pathfinders in 42, currently riding Teravail Cannonball in 700x35 but will need a wider tire for Unbound. Also ordered a Fidlock bottle in the compact 750 size, the 800 might be a tad too big to fit my tiny frame.

Hi Michelle I hope you’re well. I can’t recommend the pathfinders highly enough, they are just a brilliant allrounder. They were fast rolling on the tarmac and gravel roads, with plenty of grip and control, I was really impressed with their performance. The fidlock water bottle system is perfect for my smaller frame bike . I’ve been using them for years on my mtb, lots of fast down hill racing and big jumps and I’ve never lost a bottle. The cough / flu has certainly done the rounds, had it here to in Bristol to and kept me off the Creo 2. The gravel paths at Haldon are excellent indeed, need to have a spin around there at some point. Wider tyres gravel are good. The Creo 2 comes with 47mm so I have spare set of wheel with these on for my gravel set up, other wise on 30mm for road riding.

Hi Darren, I was knocked off my feet with this sickness but thankfully on the mend now. Haldon is a great place for gravel and trail riding and you should definitely go and explore. And with your 47c wide tyres you will have a very nice comfortable ride. Like you I also have the option with the Creo to switch the wheels over and turn it into a road bike, the best of both worlds. Loving my Pathfinders 38mm. The Creo 2 came with 47mm tires but a bit too much for the roads and trails this gal rides. My bike shop recommended the Zefel G50 fenders and your thumbs up has me ordering them. Thanks 😊

Hi Laura, I absolutely love the pathfinder pro tyres and I would always recommend the 38mm size if you’re riding tarmac roads to the gravel roads, they’re perfect. I have the Zefel rear mudguard fitted on my Creo now and that really helped keep my light and camera clean on my last gravel/ mud adventure😂😂 you can see what I went through in this coming Friday vlog 29th, if you’re interested. Hi Andrew, this illness is certainly sweeping the country and it’s been a nightmare. Mine developed into bronchitis, which was no fun. I was in agony just breathing and hells bells the pain was of the scale when I had sneezing fits. It was great to get out and ride and I’m looking forward to the next adventure. Hi Jim, doing a bit of gravel riding is awesome and getting to them was so comfortable on the pathfinders. I was very impressed with this tyre, I put them through a lot and they didn’t let me down. They are fast rolling on the tarmac and gravel roads and handled brilliantly through the boggy trails. Sorry to hear you have been ill. I hope you are on the mend. I use schwalbe g-one allround 40 mm on my Revolt-E- Gravel. The comfort and handling benefits are so good. Skinny tyres on an Ebike is not really required, IMO. Thanks for your reviews, V interesting.

Hi Swazer, I hope you’re well buddy. I’ve been suffering from bronchitis, but thankfully I’m at the end of it now. Having wider tyres like mine and your Sch, g one’s makes a massive difference to a rider. The comfort and grip and freedom to just ride anywhere is awesome and something I will take advantage of when hitting the trails. Having optimised d3 massively reduces respiratory infection by at least 80%. I can hear your bad chest. Glad your on the mend. Please take good care mate.

​@electricbikerider yes mate. Get your vitamin d levels checked. I use a company called Cytoplan for my vitamins. I take their vitamin d3 and k2 combo. Plus others. I actually put a slide show together a few years back. I can send you the link , not sure if I can link it here? I'll try.

Hi Armand, I’m finally on the mend and back out on the bike again 👍🏻 I went tubeless with the Specialized pathfinders tyres this time, because of the benefits gained with a wider tyre, lower psi for a more comfortable ride especially on the gravel roads, more traction when cornering and more puncture protection with luck. I have always set up my mtb tubeless which worked great, but I don’t really recommend it for road tyres because of the higher pressure, and it’s never sealed a puncture for me yet. If the tyres are tubeless is there a plug for the hole in the rim where the valve normally is? Nice ride, and glad to see you back out and about.

Hi Kevin, when the tyres are tubeless you have to use a special tubeless valve, which looks and works the same as a normal tubed valve. The inner rim of the wheel also has to have a tape wrapped around to make it air tight and ready for a tubeless tyre. This setup works brilliantly for gravel roads and trails for example, as you can ride with lower psi which gives you more traction, control and comfort so it’s a win win. Hi, love your video's on the creo. Ive just bought one myself and am thinking of changing the 47mm tracer tyres to something a bit narrower like the pathfinder 38mm ones. I ride mainly tarmac so would these roll along smoothly enough? I also wanted to ask you where have you located your little blippers for changing modes on the motor? Id like to change the location of mine . Love my bike so far just need to change a few things. Thanks.

Hey Kevin, I absolutely love the specialized pathfinder pro tyres, and the 38mm works perfectly for me. Like you I manly road ride, and these are very fast and comfortable. The fact that you can just leave the tarmac road and jump on a gravel road or trails is fantastic. My motor remote buttons are placed on the bar bend were the brake lever hoods start, if that helps buddy. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻⚡️🚴🏻

Hi Kevin, my saddle is a specialized power, this one came fitted with the bike when purchased, and I like it. The top tube pack is from tailfin, mine is a 0.8ltr bag and I highly recommend it. Hi Andrew, I have only ridden 47c tyres on a mtb, but it’s great to now be able to fit them on a road/gravel bike. I was really impressed with the comfort the 38c pathfinder tyres gave me. My internal wheel rim width is 20mm so it’s only recommended I fit a max tyre of 40mm but I know some guys have fitted 42c pathfinders with no issues. Many thanks for watching and happy riding. ⚡️🚴🏻👍🏻
