looking to get this as well. how tall are you and what size frame? im 5'10 and leaning towards S3

I'm about 5 foot 10 as well. I recently was riding the regular Stumpjumper in the size s3 and that felt small to me. I went with the S4 with a shorter 40mm stem and it feels perfect. I would say it really depends on how you want the bike to handle. If you wanna faster handling more playful bike go with the S 3. If you want some thing that's more stable and slightly more upright go with ths s4. That's the nice thing about the S sizing the seat tube is cut very short. So you can run a long dropper post if you size up.

@@mudkayak6305 When you size up the head tube of the frame is taller. If you prefer a more upright position and are in between sizes it's usually best to size up. If you're OK with a little bit more of an aggressive position the shorter head tube on the smaller frame will achieve that.
