Makes sense that the dulce de leche is softer since the filling has that additional fat in it from the milk in the condensed milk. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe. I’m in bmore, but from New Orleans. Randazzos stopped shipping kingcakes for the season. I’m going to give this a try. Also thank you for providing measurements in grams. It makes it a lot easier to be precise.
