I have fuel smell coming into the cabin. I was thinking maybe I need to replace the hoses coming from the tank. How do you replace the hoses though? The video just kinda says you replace the hoses, but where do the hoses go and how did you access them?

It is very tight in there but it is possible to do it using 45 and 90 degree needle nose pliers. Patience is the key.

Anyone reading this with a z32 : make sure you replace your sending unit o ring that secures it to the tank. It’s likely 30ish years old N will likely leak when resealed. I have used dorman’s O RING for around 9 bucks online and it seals snugly AND doesn’t leak. If you go OEM O RING make sure it has the oem sticker on it. I have purchased “oem” from other online vendors and they arrive in. Generic bag and didn’t fit properly. The SZ fuel kit is a great addition and is good security against any chance of failure from that old relief valve !! Replace your fuel filter while you have the pressure off of the system too if its been more than a year. 🏄‍♂️

You would love my 1 owner 1993 60k original miles E85 stock twin turbo 300zx making 498rwhp I got all the extra goodies you were talking about like bigger intercoolers. I wish your shop was closer to me I would come in for a dyno tune !!

Awesome video, Seb! It's just a year or so late for me, haha! Great job walking through the install step by step. I went through it fairly blind when I changed out my pump - learned the hard way how to easily short out the pump power wire. "Something in the way" should be the official Z32 theme song!! 😂 Agree with your take in working on the car. Is it easy, no... is it really THAT bad, no... as long as you have the right tools!

I’m about to purchase the walboro 525 with the kit and all. I was wondering what is the bulk head fitting? Is it needed?

We recommend it for those using the 520\525 pumps so that it can be provided with better ew wiring. It is also used on assemblies where the factory bulk head wiring is damaged and\or has bad connections.
