It is a misconception that a liger is sterile, please note the Jungle Island exhibit down in Miami. I do include in my definition of a species that they are found in the same location, interbreed naturally, and produce fertile offspring. The speciation and patterns of evolution have helped tremendously during this recent unit.

The presenter just seems to re-present different variations on the same argument. Perhaps that's what some people need. I would like to see what the proportions of DNA accross species determines viability/sterility, and see a well illustrated set of gene anecdotes around this.

the donkey and mule pictures are mislabeled. They are actually opposite: the one on the top with the pack on its back is the mule, the smaller one on the bottom of the slide is the donkey,

One question is: what is that sterile F1 (hybrid) to be called? A new species? Unrealistic though, if enough number of hybrid were produced & if they mate & reproduce fertile offspring, it's called a 'new' species technically?

African and European start to separate into a new species, given enough time to accumulate genetic differences African and Chinese is the dawn of a new species

The literature suggests that the overwhelming amount of mutations are harmful.
