ABOUT JURASSIC WORLD: EVOLUTION
A brand new Jurassic World video game - Jurassic World: Evolution has been announced. Coming in Summer 2018 this park builder for PC, Xbox One and PS4 is going to let us finally build our very own Jurassic World. A sort of sequel to Jurassic Park Operation Genesis and the Jurassic World film, Jurassic World Evolution will contain a bunch of dinosaurs including the Tyrannosaurus Rex Rexy, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Indominus Rex, Indoraptor (okay probably) and more. Jurassic World Evolution will release alongside Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom in 2018 and is the top upcoming dinosaur game for 2018.

One of my favorite clips of the Species Profile of the Metricanthisaurus was the second clip where the Metricanthosaurus is roaring and the Deinonychus has taken notice of it if all dinosaurs are like after the game's release, I'll see that as an Amazing Touch of Detail.

I can imagine a T-Rex breaking open a Gyrosphere. (Like seriously tho, when I think about animations they're usually spot on, or very close to the real thing in the actual game)

Well it's meant to simulate jurassic world, an as far as I remember (please correct me if I'm wrong about that) in the movie the indom destroyed the gyrosphere without a problem. I mean yes, the indom is a pretty vicious monster (every dino is a hybrid, that's why I prefer to call it a monster or "superhybrid"), but I'd still consider it a large carnivore, therefore I think its pretty likely that the rex or spino will crack it open and smalles carnivores like allos or carnos will attack it to (like in the fallen kingdom trailer). It also would be pretty Immersion breaking an suck a lot if they would just ignore it...

You know its funny how many people in the USA hate the British. The British had only been enemies of the USA twice, the first time in the 17 hundreds they simply changed their mind about repressing a cry for independence, and then actually funded further independent expansion. The war in 1812 was because the USA had tried to take Canada, which still belonged to great Britain. Every other moment in history the USA have practically been as close as I am to you and Armin. So why do so many highly patriotic US citizens give the British so much hate? I don't understand. Respect your allies. Some would say, "weal what about British imperialism?" Unfortunately, people make all kinds of assumptions they come up with when it comes to bashing one game over the other, or favoring this title over that one for whatever reason, rather than embracing all of them being made for all of us dinosaur fans that waited for such games for years. Saurian isn't a rival to JWE by any means, it's opponent is The Isle. If anything, JWE is rivaling with Mesozoica and Prehistoric Kingdom for the greatest park builder, however there's no competition in that case at all either because JWE is a Triple A title made by Triple A developers, Meso and PK is being made by indie devs with no chances of coming remotely close to the level of JWE's visuals, animations and game mechanics.

Why not? I mean it's confirmed you can make the more aggressive with pit viper DNA, tougher with crocodile DNA and smarter with octopus DNA, so why not more docile and over all nicer with something else?

Making them more docile could be an option. The science tree probably leads to more docile and less neurotic aggressive behavior than the entertainment or security paths. And it would be a call back to the original Jurassic Park book. Wu wanted to make the Velociraptors more tame and docile because of how dangerous they were, but Hammond wanted them to be the savage predators they were. We see how that turned out.

In Operation Genesis the carnivores could coexist peacefully depending on the mix: Acrocanthosaurus and Carcharadonotsaurus especially, but most of the others could as well depending on their numbers and the space and food supply. The only ones who could never coexist were T. rex and Spino, even if they're amicable at first eventually they will attack each other regardless of their conditions. Hopefully JWE has more variety and intricacy regarding carnivore coexistence.

I wonder if they picked such an incomplete dinosaur in the hopes that more information is published later. Frontier has a reputation of changing things in Elite as more scientific evidence is discovered (Trappist being an example, it was added to the game), and it is really awesome seeing them go out of their way to do this. I am so hyped for the game, and absolutely cannot wait!

I don't think the deinonychus was acc looking at the metri. I think the two are separate animations that occur at the same time because the deinonychus keep moving its head like it heard something it cannot locate. If it was responding to the metri it would have just stared at it

That's something they need to work on ( making the Dinosaurs aware of each other ). I don't want herbivores feeling comfortable anywhere near carnivores. It would also be awesome if they found a way to improve hunting behavior ( carnivores waiting within tree lines for herbivores to come close and then exploding out of their cover ).

You forgot to mention that in the first clip with the walking Metriacanthosaurus you can see two more of them in the background behind/under it's tail after it has walked for a second or two. They seem to square up to eachother, as if they are preparing to do battle. :P

Diononychus is not an animal I imagine is docile, it's probably the most dangerous species of dinosaur known to man. I would say the exhibit is well fed. I know that's how they keep sharks from eating each other in the aquariums.
