I have a fluval flex 15 gallon. I have 8 blue dream shrimp with tetras and guppies and loaches. It is heavily planted. I bought some mods on etsy to replace intake and overfow inlets They are doing great. Note the tank was well established when I added the ahrimp (6 mos old).

No, they need pellets as well
