I think the middle moisture reading of 10 was because that was where your sticker was.

Did you measure the temperature? Does it get hot enough to kill powder post beetles or other bugs?

Definitely a win and no cost to run

I have heard that if you put the stickers at the vary end of the board it is supposed to stop the checking.

Might be better change the door from slide to hinge open. Nice update, I still wanna build one of these. Gotta make some extra money first.

That’s cool! Would providing air movement across the air stacks move that process along? Not sure what your normal humidity is, mine averages under 35%, so I suspect it would pull the moisture out faster, at least on the 1”.

The air flow during the higher temperatures is what's helps remove the moisture. Then at night the cooler temperatures and no movement allows the wood to acclimate to the changes.

Wait... why would you put the PV behind the roof cover? Not only less light, but the high temp is gonna make em perform like runny poo.

That's pretty cool, never seen anything like that. This is why I have stuck with your channel, neat! God Bless all, now get out there & build something 🤣

I understand why you are trying to keep your costs to run it at zero and have it be 100% solar, but wouldn’t it be tremendously more efficient to add a dehumidifier? In my brain, I can see the moisture coming out of that wood in the daytime and going right back in at night as there’s nowhere for it to go. That could be just my crazy thinking but really, with plastic above it and painted OSB all around, where is it going?
