We did this same flight 3 months ago in September 2019. Absolutely amazing and worth every penny! Zermatt and the Matterhorn are not to be missed when in Switzerland!

That little lake is already in Italy! If I am not wrong it is called ''Goillet Lake'' and located at 2500 meters elevation . On top of Cervino - Matterhorn there is a Christian Cross and that is on almost every important or big mountains. Some people have start to place Buddha statues

I see two villages Breuil Cervinia Italian side and mount Matterhorn is Italy.Switzerland is 200 meters from Matterhorn( Cervinia)and Zermatt.

Mucho thanks for posting! Altogether breathtaking. Route appears planned for max variety of terrain, & much more. At 13:53, I like that the pilot has flown way beyond the peak, then turned around to show the Matterhorn from a different perspective. It is still recognizable. Any chance of adding a little dialogue, or captions, to learn what else we are seeing here? Mountaineer's point of view. Geologist's point of view. To me, the plant freak, amazing to see a hint of green where glaciers so recently lay.

Was on the beach in n.j. and had an urge to climb.caught a flight to the alps.forgot to change still had my bathing suit and flip flops on.it didn't stop me.bought boots and a sweat shirt. I actually ran to the base of the matterhorn, then began to hop up which was even faster. I was half way up, and started to get cold..Good thing I had an energy drink,and some almonds.. Took 2 hours but finally got to the top..windy.. made a parachute out of my handkerchief, and got back down pretty fast.flew back to New Jersey and back on beach. It was ok..

Helicoptors are great for the people in them, but they're loud and perhaps disturb the alpine peace and quiet sought by hikers and mountaineers below. Helicoptor tours like the one in the video were banned in San Francisco due to the noise, and perhaps other places as well.

How do you think helicopter pilots at Air Zermatt get their flight practice hours? Which they need to get approved or stay approved for rescue flights... And earn money for servicing equipment etc. And which mountaineers do not rely on their services in case of being in an emergency situation? And finally, I know San Francisco very well - the comparison lacks - because there is no need for an air rescue team over there. So better look at both sides of the equation before posting, thanks for your understanding.
