I love to see the Horse Guards in their red tunics and the more formal attire! Idk what level the trooper is that gave the orders and did the inspection, but he looks fabulous in his decorated uniform! It shows that he works hard to do what’s required in order to move up the ladder. Congrats to him and other troopers wtho work hard to move up! The horses always look immaculate and well cared for! I have been a big fan for a year! I watch the various videos every single day! I wish the tourist wouldn’t touch the horses so much, especially, on the horse’s muzzle!

I enjoyed the trumpet call, I used to play this when I was trumpeter in the RAF Halton Corps played the Last Post @ the Cenotaph in 1962

Ive noticed in several videos that the tassels on their helmets are different colors , some are red , some white , Is there a reason or just coincidence?

I think if i remember correctly the trumpeter wears a different colour plume and rides a white horse because in times gone by the trumpeter would convey messages on the battle field and the different colours made him stand out from the rest of the cavalry.

The 2 diff regiments wear different coloured uniforms the Blues and Royals wear blue tunic with red plumes the Life guards red tunics white plumes.
