@benoitmartin82835 жыл бұрын

Jacob and Co came out with a very similar style movement using two triple axis sequential tourbillons last year that they're currently using in the watch they are making for Bugatti. I always thought it looked a little strange because the tourbillions didn't turn smoothly but Purnells does the same thing so it must just be the way such a complicated "mini machine" works. I wasn't familiar with Purnell until this video but will definitely be looking into them more as I love collecting watches from small brands with complicated in house movements. A great video as always. I must say your quality and informative videos are a strong reason for my collection continuing to grow faster than it probably should, Viva Watchmaking!!

Another great video Marc! Since I first saw LeCoultre's Gyrotourbillon, I have been wondering why watchmakers don't utilize 3D printing for these incredibly complex 'cages'. To my mind, it's a technology which lends itself perfectly to the application.
