We certainly did have a blast but not sure about the giant browns, will have to got to the SI for them, I think. Pretty solid rainbows though

Beautiful stream--just the kind I like to fish. And the rainbows were just amazing. Thanks for posting. It's still Winter in Colorado. Just got 9 inches of snow and another storm is on the way. But in a week or two I won't just be salivating looking at your videos, but hopefully stand in a mountain stream catching smaller versions of the fish you guys caught.

It is indeed a lovely place and we are blessed with generally big fish here in New Zealand. I'm glad it doesn't get that cold here and because of our lake spawning runs we get some different but good fishing in the winter too. I'm just not a fan of the cold but I found some hand warmers I'll be investing in this winter.

@Neil Richardson it's a shame, that's where I used to stay in winter. This winter it will probably be TRM most of the time, Ross looks after anglers so well it's hard to stay anywhere else. I'm sure we'll catch up this winter sometime.

Yeah I've never see that before. If you look at the first hookup there was a solid bend it the rod for half a second. I must have pricked it. Crazy how it tried 3 more times. Cicadas must be really good. The real ones anyway.
