If you are very close to someone with magnetic gloves, you can easily eliminate him if he tries to throw the ball at you, there is a short moment where there is just like an animation where the player stands still in the air before he throws it, that you can easily shoot the player especially with a burst smg it is really effective. You can also eliminate the player easily by shooting at his shield until it breaks, here the burst smg is also really good, and then finish with a gate keeper shutgun. Easy peasy

I think an interesting small nerf for the Magneto gloves would be to give it a bit of splash damage reduction. Keep the base damage for direct hits and reduce it a bit to something like 70 for AOE hits.

I definitely would love to see a counter to the magneto... I tossed a shockwave at a guy which threw him into storm and he died. But there has to be a better way....

Any solid gun counters magneto 😂 fists counter magneto. It’s not unstoppable at all my guy. If they throw the shield up just close the distance with a gatekeeper and they have to run because the first magneto attack has a king animation before firing. You can get three gatekeeper shots off in that time span.

The shield doesn’t stop splash damage so the boom bow can come in handy

Magneto gloves are easily my new least favourite item. Any one with fists and gloves will just fist away and throw scrap from a distance. Move in close to counter and they’ll repeat. So annoying. I love the thunderburst over any AR.

couldn't agree more. the sh1t is so ASS no idea wtf is wrong with epic designers' brain they had ballistic shield in season 1, then waterbending& hades chain season 2, but no one would guess that season 3 is even worse

@@MIoumakes 100%. Epic are trying to wind players up with the new metas. Lost count of the amount of games I’ve came 2nd because of the glove/fist combo. I got used to gloves in the game but now both just makes it easier for players with no real skill to hide til the end then belt you about.

Guns aren’t useless at all. Combat AR shreds your magneto in a fight. Gatekeeper shreds it up close. Burst smg is smacks it up too.

The magneto gauntlets + the nitro medallion is quite the combo, constant sprint, with longer jump and floating attacks. Been playing reloaded and ranked but this combo made it easier for me to deal with the random chaos of the cars in BR this season. Would love to see a video on what you can do with these.

The glitch I keep running into since the last update is using a flowberry fizz until it's empty and for some reason it autoswitches to my next loadout slot; usually a gun, and just automatically fires a shot from that gun until I react and take my finger off the trigger. It didn't used to do that. :(

This viewing session was GOOD. Learned a lot from everyone you spectated. I do tend to commit pretty hard to sniper in the late game but I might transition entirely to having a snipe in the early to mid game and then dropping it for either an AR or maybe the Magneto item in the late game and keep my Gatekeeper on lock

Magneto gear is strong as a shield. I had a guy at basically nothing, and he just shielded up and blocked anything I could do, indefinitely. Far worse than the Star Wars Lightsabers.

Thunder imo is the best, mythic AR second best, high rarity 2x Enforcer third best. It's so satisfying to hipfire or quick scope the Enforcer, but I lose about 40% more fights compared with using a Thunder.

1 snipe and switch unless they're out of primary range. Hard and fast rule gets me more kills and still keeps the sniper fun to use

The green dashes are great but I have a huge problem using them. Mostly because of mantling. My controller doesn't ever seem to respond to mantling inputs when I have dashes. It always just tries to use the dashes instead of mantling. Even if my dang screen is showing the mantling option. It still just uses up my dashes instead of mantling. Unless I'm just very slow and careful about timing my button press at the right time at the spot I want to mantle at. Which with the pace of this season is just impossible most times. It's VERY frustrating.

Change your setting to Hold forward to mantle, that helped for me

Combat and it's not even close. Although lately I've only been carrying a shottie and a thunderburst, plus EMPs, movement and heals. The only AR I'd consider swapping in is the mythic combat for the thunderburst.

This season is terrible. All of Chapter 5 has been dominated by overpowered weapons that make using other weapons totally ineffective and useless. I'm not playing another season where every game comes down to the last 5 people having to have the exact same weapons to win. Or, more importantly, if you don't have those weapons, you are dead meat to those that do. I couldn't be more disappointed in Fortnite. I want a season where the last 5 players all have their own loadout for their game style, not what is necessary to survive. Fortnite has taken all the fun out of Season 5.
