​@@SbassLaserThe shotguns are balanced between the other shotguns but not between ARs and SMGs. They're weaker than they should be and the SMGs, particularly the veiled SMG are bit overtuned while the damage from the sword is also probably too much. It could be turned into a high skill item by lowering its damage and making it primarily a combat mobility item instead of the low skill weapon it is now.

@@somber8233 the shotguns are definitely balanced with the ARs and SMGs, they absolutely dominate in close range, which is how shotguns are meant to be used.

@@SbassLaser The SMGs have a much faster TTK than all the shotguns so not really. They only dominate as quick peek weapons. They could stand to be buffed a little and the SMGs nerfed a little. There's just too many case scenarios where SMGs are much more useful than shotguns for it to be considered balanced. When I start seeing the high level zero build players pick up shotguns as their meta CQC weapon, I'll agree with you.

People have been playing so passive in the endgames this chapter, at least in my matches... It's so annoying! I swear i try to fight as many people as i can, but i just can't find anyone at all, especially in the early game.

YEah there's a lot of dead time, the storm needs to close faster. People are playing nervously at the end because out in the open you get crushed by the AR from all directions. I'd like a sniper added to mix up the way the game is being played.

20:48 they did the left trigger aim down sights where you do a forward dash and sling anything in front of you and damage it. It actually does very high damage to structures as well

What I think of chapter 6 so far: I really love it. Not perfect, I think the sword is OP, but still it's a really good season, the map looks great. However I have still mostly been playing Reload. Maybe that's why I like ch6 so much, the moment it frustrates me I go play Reload. I love the fact we have 3 BR games to choose from. And thank you for explaining that if you swap weapons while teleporting it resets your position, I had no idea what happened with that guy.

as someone who started playing fortnite in chapter 5, I'm not at all used to the hit scan weapons. I keep trying to lead my shots instinctively and end getting killed. other than that I like the chapter so far

It just sounds like you forget they're hit scan which to me personally seems like a strange thing to forget. It shouldn't be difficult because it's not like a muscle memory thing, like switching from controller to keyboard or vice versa. Maybe it's easy for me to remember they're hitscan because I've played a lot of battlefield and PUBG both games having more bullet drop than most other games and I've played CSGO or other hitscan games so it's easy for me to switch my mind to remember which is which. It's just strange to me because even without hit scan, different weapons would have different bullet velocities meaning you would still need to account for each one. Are you new to shooters by chance if I may ask?

@@somber8233 I wouldn't say I'm new to shooters but I don't play video games in general as often as I used to. I work full time and am in college part time so I don't get a lot of time to play. I've just gotten so used to leading shots that's what I do now without thinking about it. I am getting better at remembering tho, my k/d for this season is the same as my overall average so it seems like I'm getting the hang of it now.

Overall really enjoying the season, I think more than anything in Ch5. I mean noobs jumping me with the katana spam is annoying, but I guess Fortnite will always have noob items so I suppose this isn't the worst as far as noob stuff goes.

Reload medallion + Oni shotgun = profit

That medallion reloads based off the size of the magazine. Unless you fire your shots very slowly and taking really long peeks, it won't benefit. It pairs better with the auto shotgun since it has a much larger capacity and much slower reload than the Oni. A fire boon would benefit an Oni more. I still prefer the pump over all of them.

Does anyone know if cars have different hit boxes? Like the car at 11:30 seems very easy to shoot out back window. Are all cars like that. I drive the skyline.

Yes, they would have to because the shapes of the cars vary so much which changes how you're able to peek them which means it also changes where bullets will hit them, I prefer the default car skins for that reason.

Forgive for commenting on this video with something that does not have anything to do with this video but I figured since you are a content creator, you might know a way how to contact Epic. There is an issue in Fortnite that myself and many other players are having. The issue is that players are leveling up in whatever map or game mode they choose to play and once they go back to the lobby or start another game, they lose the progress that they’ve made and they are back at the level they were before they started their games. I don’t think it’s happening to everybody but it’s happened to me and other players a lot.

That happens to me as well, when the rank progress screen fails to show output ("This seems to take more time than usual" - or something like that). After this, I often see my original rank progress. But for me at least, it always caught up later so far, like the day after or next time logging in.

Turns out Epic didn't learn a thing from the Nitro Fists. The sword has the same stupid, spammy knock back effect that has griefed at least 10 of my matches this season because I get knocked off a cliff from 30 meters away. Stupid. Chapter 5 season 1 was this game's peak, and it has done nothing but gotten worse since. Deleting.

Are you using an SMG? Use any shotgun, hit once, swap to SMG and deal some damage, then switch back to shot gun for the final hit. It’s important not to be overly reliant on one specific type of weapon, which kinda felt like the entirety of chapter 5 was. (Frenzy auto war flashbacks) I’ve defeated all sword users thus far using an SMG in their face, the damage output is crazy.
