Imma give y’all the Strat. You start with 3 Thor force, dash into your fight with storm surge, smack somebody, awaken, once awaken runs out, smack somebody, lightning realm, awaken again. Rinse and repeat and you can essentially stay in awaken as long as you are in a fight. Thor thrives off of being in the enemy’s face and brawling, his awaken even does tick damage when you are up close. Don’t waste Thor force poking because you’ll just be waiting around for it to recharge and you’re essentially useless in that time.

For those wondering about how to get more Thor force. U gain one back if u hit someone after using an ability. Specifically the E (sphere thing), u gain 1 Thor force for each person inside the bubble and if you hit someone with a few seconds after casting it, you gain 1. So if u go in, pop it on one person, hit them with hammer, that alone is 2 Thor force. U could be at 0, pop it on 2 ppl, hit one with a hammer and now ur full.

So if I fly at someone and it hits and pushes them back the. Hit them right away with a normal attack. That uses 1 thorforce but gains back 2 thorforce?

@@jonogunn No. You only gain 1 thor force when hitting someone with your hammer after your hammer throw or dash, not e. But if you fly at someone and hit them you get -1 for using ability +1 for hitting someone with hammer. E is the only ability that doesn't consume thorforce but can help you gain thorforce. In the video he pops awakening rune and comes out of it a lot, and then uses dash and e and waits for his last thorforce to come back up. You end awakening rune at around 1.5 thorforce. And then wait out the last half and use e or dash + melee to get back to the fight and use 1 thorforce but get 1 back. Hopefully I explained that properly!

It's only the first auto attack after using the ability. So, you can fly at someone with your "shift" (-1), Melee (+1), "e" while still in melee range (+1 at least) depending on number of targets hit.

I recently hit lord on Thor and I have been smoking people in the EU region despite having a 200 ping since I am from India. The character is good... If you hit your awakening shots, every match is gonna be easy for you. Reached diamond 1 this season just with Thor and some hulk here and there. The only problem I have is his Ult. Often I only get a single kO with it as people can easily out run it. If it was an instant ult like Bucky without ticking damage and maybe adding all of it to the final smash and making it instant smash Thor would be Goated. Also against strange with awakening you should try to break his shield and let your other dps do the damage later. You can easily land all your awakening shots to his shield and that's 700 damage. And do use your hammer throw while going for the back line. I have seen a lot of people that don't even use the Hammer throw ability. I often do a quick normal attack followed by a hammer throw to do a decent chuck of damage to get the KO.

Yeah, hammer throw without auto attack cancelling is just a weaker part of his kit, but definitely can be useful if you get on a backliner.

This game would've been won so much sooner if one team went Moonknight, they are playing so clumped up with Loki, Moonknight would have ult twice a fight, Thor gameplay is a bit different to mine, I am about to hit Celestial, good to see that there are different ways to carry on Thor

@843Lyric Mostly kidnapping, Nevix just seems to play brawl staying frontline and pumping damage to get more ults, I find it personally better to try to kidnap to get a kill on a tank or DPS without feeding support ults. Nevix was using his F then going in to get another F, basically chaining F over and over, you can pump in damage but most of it is pointless damage going into a tank that is being healed, sometimes it goes into supports and dps when his team are using support ults, then he will ult but it almost always gets support ulted. Being patient and not spamming damage will mean you get less ult charge and damage but you feed less ult charge, but you can hide up top and drop down to constantly push a tank into your team, then you can clean up after. I have a 78% winrate from GM3 to GM1 on Thor this season as him being my most played hero

This 3 support meta... Man, I really dislike it. Luna ults, Loki copies it, Cloak and Dagger ult and... just recycle, over and over again. You can see a lot of potential great (and dfun) plays, even ult combos, being countered like nothing because of these endless ults...

It can definitely be a little frustrating, but it also can create some good teamwork value. Holding groot and Namor ult to one shot, getting some cc into a moon knight ult that can't be out healed. I do agree though, in some games it does feel rough to have ultimates cycling nonstop.

Is it just me, or should they slow the ult charge on supports to nerf the triple support meta or, i feel like support ults decide the game most of the time in gm lobbies and higher(especially cloak and dagger).

They might need to slow it a little bit, but maybe that's where they want the min/maxing to come in. Trying to build your teams ult charge faster than the enemy gets theirs by taking less damage etc. Now that everyone just runs Magneto into cloak for the almost guaranteed one shot, I think only Luna might need a nerf.

The immediate value gained from switching and having dual tanks (esp with Thor as a comfort pick for Nevix) was far greater than the value that could POTENTIALLY be gained from a single Hela ult. Also, if Nevix doesn't get a pick with Hela ult, he now has to continue to play out the next teamfight or two on a hero that is not supporting his team nearly as well as Thor could.

He’s mixing them in with the left clicks. You can animation cancel the right click so you can’t really see it. But you can see the bonus health pop up randomly when he’s swinging

@TheMoeShun Right click isn't that great especially if you have 3 supports, you can F more often because you will get healed. The risk with the F is that you have no movement, but with the triple support that doesn't matter. Also unless you are right up close to someone there is no point in right clicking because you want to follow up with a hammer swing to get your thorforce back
