Pokemon Pocket TCG should hire you for commentating. You did a fantastic job

I appreciate that so much! TPCi had me cast (due to this channel actually, in 2021-2022) the Pokemon UNITE February Finals tourney on their official channels; they ultimately went with other people when I stopped with UNITE and they kept trying casters out over time, etc., but I'd really like to do this game's tournaments!!! Definitely make noise for me if you follow them on any socials ;) Every little bit helps, and thanks for viewing!

CLS' game 3 decision to let pikachu die just to damage wigglytuff is just so bad. Pikachu will die and put zapdos at risk of being put to sleep. Shouldve just swapped to zapdos then try to get some damage out then pikachu will finish it off when zapdos dies.

He only needed 1 coin from zapdos to land for it to be in range of pikachu's 1 hko revenge kill
@ebonilha17 күн бұрын
@@DaisukeABP yeah but his odds of winning after this play were smaller than 50:50 because it's 50% from the sleep coin and 6.125% from the Zapdos attack. Had he retreated he would still have had a 12.5% chance of winning on the spot + almost 50% on the next turn, but even if Wigglytuff sleep haxed his Zapdos he could revenge kill with Pikachu. It was clearly a better play.

I mean I guess he could have been afraid of Wigglytuff retreating and having to kill Weezing again but that would only happen if Hana decided to retreat instead of going for Sleepy Song, and then the game would go on.
@DaisukeABP17 күн бұрын
@@ebonilha Yea wigglytuff could retreat but would still be already damaged and in 1hko range from pikachu in case it gets back (assuming zapdos got at least 1 heads). And by that time, weezing is also in 1 shot range of zapdos with just 2 heads and giovanni (which he has 2). Odds would be way better for him by then.

They should change the rule a little bit. Best 2 out of 3 and can’t use the same deck twice.

Dude!!! I couldn’t believe it, I was just kinda joking or throwing out a crazy scenario and then BOOM! And it’s funny cuz in those moments like that, I try to just go on like normal and keep commentating, but I should allow myself to react bigger maybe. Thanks so much for viewing!

CLS drew a bad hand first game but made some poor plays during the second and third. They really should value their EX Pokemon more and not just let them feint when there are other options available.

Right!? Like recall Pika game 3 on 10hp. That's a free 90dmg revenge if Zapdos goes down. They can't kill Zapdos with a 50HP wiggly in play (double potion wouldn't be enough) so they are forced to play wheezing

I definitely agree on that latter part, though I try my best to not insert too many negative opinions about the competitors or anything...but I really enjoy reading the comments from you and others, who can analyze all of the moves even further, when not having to commentate it in real time. It was definitely a strange game 3, IMO! haha Thanks for viewing

Hana misplayed the end of game 2 pretty badly, unless I'm missing something. He should have put the energy on the second Weezing one turn before, and considering his deck only has a single X Speed he shouldn't have put Weezing on the active spot after when he had the chance
@PokemonMasterKendo16 күн бұрын
I definitely think the latter part of your comment. The energy probably was less dire, since both WigglyEX & Weezing only needed one more energy to be able to attack and that energy could be placed on "naturally" during their turn order. But definitely like you said, first off there was only that one Ex Speed, but also yeah, probably the Weezing in the active spot might've been it; though the luck aspect with Zapdos getting those three Heads in one attack against Wigglytuff EX kind of made it like a no-win situation that just came down to a certain amount of luck.
