While these sound design snacks are fast videos, everything you need to know is clearly explained and it doesn't take long to rewatch and grasp the idea enough to try it for yourself!

This is super similar to the modal synthesis snack from a while back!

I suppose you’re right 😅 Maybe I’m running out of ideas. Haha. Nah, the main thing here is, rather than modeling a particular inharmonic spectrum, you take an arbitrary (or in this case a “perfect”) spectrum and think more about the content of what’s going into it, and what the Convolver can do to it on the way out in terms of adding to or interfering with those resonances. I also think the master-pitch wobble is fun, because you’re not really changing the pitch of what you’re hearing (mainly). You’re changing how in tune the material feeding into it is. Just a slightly different vibe ☺️ Hope you’re having a great day! /George

If you're running out of ideas, would love to see some snacks on heavy riddim/dubstep or reese basses made in Phase Plant. I always feel like the tools to make these in PP are lacking compared to Serum because of the lack of types of filters

George thus proving - contrary to now popular belief - that there are such things as healthy snacks! (as usual)... 🕺🕺 Would love to see one on setting up triggers (unless I missed this) as I always seem to forget how to do this for some reason...

When i activate unison i become a lot of crackels... is it only me? Greetings

Nah, that'll just be your CPU begging for mercy. It's not a particularly efficient process, this one, with every individual filter needing to be computed per-voice. So turning on unison immediately doubles (or triples, or quadruples, etc.) the amount of load on the system. Best to keep unison off, and use a non-polyphonic Chorus or Ensemble effect at the end of the chain if your machine can handle it. /George
