Had to watch this video to figure out how Umbra Recon marking worked. That's an insane amount of work for such minimal benefit. The guaranteed flash is cool but it takes both bodies to make it work and the range of the scan is super limited. Using 2 bodies in close quarters like that is extremely hard.

I think they need to change a lot about umbra in order for it be on par with the other sponsor. I think making the scan be able to bounce or be controlled like the muu flash would be good. And I think making the heart beet sensor much shorter duration, but more range would be good. The main problem is that you have to be right by the enemies in order for umbra to be effective.

I think the scan is just super versatile. Set your spectre up on a different site close to main through a wall, it's a trip. Use it on a retake with a revolver and wallbang whoever you see, it's retake recon. Quickly scan, swap, blind, swap, swing, it's a flash with a lot of startup but lasts 4 seconds. Jack of all trades, master of none type beat

@@funderscoretoast3220 unfortunately the scanner range is so short that once they know they're scanned they can often pinpoint exactly where you are and now either your afk spectre is in danger or you have to stop scanning immediately and pull out a real gun

@@SuperboneOne tbh i really dont have the map knowledge to know if thats accurate or not 😭But if you're fast enough can't you just blind them anyway? Or have a teammate cover for the spectre
