BTW, the sprays in this game have patterns similar to CS rather than random like Valorant. So there will still be a reward in learning patterns and probably situations where spray control will be highly rewarded.

I like that the locked buy system isnt just a byproduct of the spectre system, but an actual balance mechanic. If you want an Op, your spectre won't also have an ak. I think there's a lot of unique balancing and strategy potential as is, and i hope it stays that way

can't wait. my best friend loves cs but has terrible eyesight (bad enough to where he can't get a drivers license) he often loses cause he can't see the enemies. he also hates things like the inaccuracy when moving because he can't time it well thanks to his sight. the fact that you effectively have 2 lives, can see where your team is looking to avoid confusion, have enemy highlights to spot them easier (though it needs to be made stronger ofc) AND you're accurate when moving makes me think this may be the perfect game for us to play together. hope it'll be free and the devs will listen to the community's oppinions.

@@Yawne. we live in Denmark so healthcare is free, but he's an albino so he naturally has terrible eyesight. im not sure on the details but his parents are pretty well off so if eye surgery was a possibility, even if it cost a leg and an arm, i'm pretty sure he would've gotten it already. he does have glasses but he still has to lean in super close to the monitor to read regular sized text. he's genuinely good at a lot of games and i wouldn't be suprised if he went pro at cs if he had normal sight, so it's sad to see him struggling because of something he can't controll

The loadout thing is def not a balance decision but a design one. In games theres this design principle where if you give too many varied options to players, theyll simply choose the strongest one/s and not touch everything else youve implemented. By restricting your weapon combos they can get you to actually interact with more of the game instead of limiting yourself

Hmm why do you think having less teammates will make it worse? It's much easier to carry against less enemies. Of course when you have a team of 5 you're more likely to get another good player on your team. But if you're worried about being the one carrying then less is more, you only have 3 players to worry about at a time even if they do have 2 lives only 3 people can be shooting at you at once. Especially with moving + shooting and a second life, if you're straight up better than the other team you can outplay them. If they include some movement mechanics, slightly higher TTK (maybe a slightly shorter TTK than Apex), and a higher gun skill ceiling, then we could see a lot of outplay opportunity and not just who can click on heads the best. I do hope the abilities are useful but there are less of them than in Valorant. Pushing a site on Valorant feels like WWII sometimes. You have 6+ smokes, flashes, walls, critters, robots, etc. all going off at the same time. It's a bit too much for the size of the sites and hallways.

And to your point the other team will only have 3 people as well, especially with 2 lives being a thing it might not be that bad

The potencial with the 2 bodys is insane, the plays that you could make are insane. Also really intresting that there are no ults but I like it, you can not just spam ults and win a fight and that is rly nice. I think that this game will be HUGE or it will flop and die in 2/3 weeks, hard to tell because of the games unique elements it is kinda made to be 100 or 0 in how big the game is, but i truly hope that the game succedes

I really like this game. Less players so best way to carry, less opportunity for shitty or toxic teammates, full accuracy while moving, and a full extra life instead of dying and watching a video. It solves all the issues i have with other tactical shooters and even some others from different genres. I really have hopes for this game

Honestly, the game is a blast. I love how clean the gun play is - way more fun than Valorant or CS2, and the Duality system is, honestly, genius. Easy to learn, hard to master, and opens up a bunch of new tactical options. I hope the game succeeds, it definitely deserves it. PS: You can change the enemy outlines, I recommend pink. It makes them stand apart quite clearly.
