Holy cow I had so much fun making this. I don't think I've had this much fun on an original piece in year! lol also, if anyone is curious, the little cat mage is based off of our cat Habibi. ;v; love that little demon lol.
For those of you that don't know, or could never see the resounding evidence from my Etsy, I adore dragons, especially long noodly ones hahaha so chances are when you see me draw original weather it's just a general idea that popper in my head, or an OC (like Zal... who is also a Dragon LOLOLOL!) chances are, you'll see a dragon in it. and if not, probably mushrooms or birds or girls haha very fantasy like ya know? idk lol Dragons have been a huge love with me since I was a little kid. ya know how little kids that draw usually seem to attach to one thing? like the kid that always draws wolves, or dogs, or a game they really like and they never stop drawing it? well I was the dragons and birds kid. that's ALL I would draw, especially dragons. and, while I stopped drawing an obsessive amount of dragons when I was like 10 years old and older, well, that part of me never completely left, and hahah here I am 26 years old, drawing dragons again and having a blast designing and painting them for my personal works.
But yeah! I had a blast with this one! it was great! I definitely am feeling a lot better with my art. not so rusty anymore. I think the massive 50 hour minecraft painting helped me get out of that haha, (which if you haven't seen it, please check it out here, • MINECRAFT - 50 HOUR S... lololol I use photoshop elements XD but in all honesty, Clip Studio paint is a much better program, and I recommend that if you're starting out :>
