Speech by Minister for Energy, Business and Industry Ebba Busch at LKAB, during Sweden's Presidency

In January 2023 Sweden took over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and the first meeting was held in Kiruna - Sweden's northernmost city. During the meeting 70 EU correspondents visited LKAB and the world's largest underground in Kiruna. This is the opening speech during their visit, by Minister for Energy, Business and Industry Ebba Busch.
During their press visit in the vistors mine a press conference was held where Jan Moström, President and CEO LKAB together with Ebba Busch annonced that LKAB identified Europe’s largest deposit of rare earth metals, located in the Kiruna area.
