I made almost the exact same comment but only up to the 4th. I mean pretty much the same comment. The only difference outside of the inclusion of 12 is that you made 10 have Anger instead of Defiance. Edit: and I made my comment a month before yours. HMMMMMMMMM

I think Capaldi might have actually succeeded rather than having to take another act to physically defeat the creature. Especially after Hell Bent. 12 was a Doctor completely made of determination and willpower. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth

I completely agree. This was good, very good, but lacked just that last little spark. The man that persisted for 4 and a half BILLION years would have treated this wannabe god with the utter contempt it deserved. He would have obliterated it.

personally i think this song fits 12 the best, he's the most stoic warrior doctor that we got to see. and in his time as the doctor he was the one that actually began to brake down and become overwhelmed by the trauma he has endured the past mellenia of life, having gone so far as refusing to regenerate. he even mentions several times of how world weary he has become

I liked hearing the Tennant rendition of this speech, but IMO it's jarring hearing it from Capaldi's version of the Doctor given what happens leading up to his incarnation.

I feel like the Twelfth Doctor would've nailed this speech much better than the Eleventh. Especially through Capaldi's performance which was recreated quite well here if a tad bit caricatured.

@@NickTheImpressionist his actual voice. I think if capaldi played the doctor with his natural Scottish voice he would have been even better. But he plays it with a sort of stage pronunciation and projection that again I don’t know if it’s because I’m Scottish it just feels forced and unnatural. But I think that’s why David done an English accent as the doctor because maybe he would have had to exaggerate it and it wouldn’t feel natural

@@ltee1233 I think it was the right choice for him to change his voice for the Doctor. I think it definitely adds more weight and gravitas which is something that greatly compliments his character. But yeah I think it is just you being Scottish lmao!

My answer is: it's good but i feel it could be better, try to listen to Capaldi's Zygon-War Speech if you want some coaching with how the yelling/louder parts should be
