I love this breakdown. I’m struggling with this off time concept right now. I’m putting in my request for a deep dive vid. Maybe a couple other song examples as well? Thanks!

Sometimes you can watch stuff like this and it makes no sense at all. You get lost in a load of 1 e and a whatsit and a 2e and a who? But this worked for me. Thanks man. Very clearly delivered.

Dude...I pray for your continued blessing and contribution to gospel groove education. I've played the basic 6/8 a while now but i'm now exploring more kick patterns other than the 1 and also more fill variations. I would love to see you do a cover of "We serve" by JJ Hairston feat. Travis Greene

Cleeeeeeean, bruv. Gotta apply some of those concepts to my own drumming. Excellent :D thanks again for giving your time for the community. You do a big thing by doing this. Thank you.

Bro could you do a video on playing with a click track in church and how to practice playing with one, so your not rushing or dragging relative to the click track. Also how do you manage to play around the clock and not sound robotic. Thanks

Hey man you are awesome thank you for dropping knowledge on me and playing church filled songs I been watching you for a while since you been out not to sound weird but I like what you play and how and I’ve really grown as a drummer but I just want to know when it comes to the song playing it As a new drummer I find it easier to count as I play and it helps me but sometimes it feels like I lose breath or the song change up in the music. I saw the video you did with the laptop 💻 app that was great information and important to know but I haven’t got a laptop yet to do all that to make it easier for sorry I’m texting to much but my ? Is how else can I go about playing a song or knowing a song or counting a song that goes from a 4/4 to a 6/8 or how to practice a 6/8 or what to listen for in a song and tell it’s a 6/8 please respond with help or just put it in a video whatever easiest thank you you have a great day

Hey man. Is that sticking pattern similar to the intro to Verse 2 on chasing me down? I know they are completely different time sigs and tempos but is it the same concept or something totally different? Thanks man, love the videos.
@DanielBernard6 жыл бұрын
Ya, similar concepts! The fill I played on chasing me down used some 1 over 1s as well.
