What we got up to in this video...
Hey! Welcome back to the channel and to another video. Me and Jess left Banaue for Sagada. We could really see ourselves living in Sagada it was just so beautiful and had an amazing feel to the place.
We did a day tour to visit the Church, Hanging Coffins and also the caves! The start of the tour was very laid back, we walked with our guide John and his Dog and spoke about the history of Sagada, religion and also certain traditions they have it was very interesting.
We hope you enjoyed watching part 1 of our day in Sagada and stay tuned for part 2!
We hoped you enjoyed this video and if you did then please show us some support by subscribing to our channel and being part of the on the move community!

We LOVED our trip to The Philippines and we went to 14 different places in total from going all the way up North to Vigan, to the islands down South with the bluest water we have ever seen! 🇵🇭 We enjoyed many adventures together in this beautiful country and tried as much food as we could fit in too! We would really appreciate any recommendations and ideas for our next trip, anything we missed? Where do you think we’d enjoy exploring next? that shortcut going to the cave then exiting from there to the woods back to the street was a very tiring trek. I live a very sedentary lifestyle and that was my first ever hike. I know it's nothing to most people but I could've died there as my heart was just about to jump out of my chest due to exaustion.

I love the tour dog Boomer. :) This tradition of hanging coffins is really quite unique and interesting, and i believe they are only reserved for distinguished leaders of the community. The higher the social status, the higher up the coffins are placed. ⚰ Oh yeah, those huge spiders are indeed terrifying. I've had encounters with them too at my parent's house. Glad you were able to get another room. 🕷😂

That was probably a common house spider - friendly, not venomous and harmless. We're used to them and we even pet them haha. It's actually good because house spiders keep mosquitos and other insects away.

Spiders and other huge creatures are quite common. Even snakes are common. The Philippines is one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet. It is the #1 most biodiverse in marine life in the world. We do not destroy/kill nature’s creatures that we share the land with unlike other parts of the world that do not treasure them!!!

Allow me to give some thoughts, if there's in need to keep wearing our hat for some reasons to the slightest then no worries, but if none for sharing a little and kind respect, while we're in the sacred places e.g. temple, chapels/churches, etc. try to put our hat down just a bit, I guess it's not that hard....peace and enjoy. Stay safe and cool 😊😆😅

We just did everything the guide said to make sure we weren’t disrespectful in any way and they’ve actually made this side of the cliffs open specifically for the tourists and the other side, where a lot more coffins are, is closed off and only visited by their families, which we thought was a great idea!
