Hi Christine, Do you have videos /ʌ/ vs /ɔ/? I know I need to think about English sounds as independent ones, but I can't help to note that my mind, as a Spanish speaker, associates those sounds with our vowel o. For example, I find our "o" really suitable in worlds like hockey and the same dovish. And I have used it for long without being misunderstood. I say it again, I understand they are English sounds, but I relate them to the Spanish o because I love both languages and I'm interested in patterns.

Hi,sorry to disturb you🙂, I would like to ask a grammar question. What does' over 'mean in this news headline“Dancing aunties clash with skaters over public space in China”? Can I understand this word as “because of” or “for” ?
@SpeechModification

It goes with "clash," as in "clash over" something. It means regarding, so they are fighting over or fighting regarding the public space.

So is “I clash with somebody over something” a fixed grammatical expression ? or can the “over” here be replaced with other prepositions, such as “for” “about”?

We typically use "clash over." You could potentially also say "clashed about" but not "clash for."
