I know this comment was made 4 years ago, but if you're still interested in bettering your card memorization, I'd recommend the person action object memory palace system. You assign a person, action, and object to each card and then group the cards into 3s using the person from the first, action from the second, and object from the third to create a mental image. Then you just have 18 vivid mental images you place along a path in a place you know well. Works great since visual memory is much better than memory of random data. I was able to get up to memorizing an entire deck within a few months of practice.

Nah man. If u did it right u could memorize all cards. I barely started and could memorize all 52 cards. Took me like 24 or so minutes the first time tho. 3 or 4 days in

i am sitting at closer to 2 minutes for a perfect deck, and have had some beautiful breakthroughs lately (after many years of mnemonocs training) so i expect my times to drop dramatically real soon. 12.73 seconds is hard to fathom and your time of about a minute is amazing. Currently I am about a year and a half shy of 50 years old and i have to say....this only gets harder to improve with age; but it is not impossible. My goal is to regularly acheive the times you are Raphaela. Cards have been one of my weaker memorization categories. Keep going. the more we push the more we broaden the understanding of what is acheivable. You may develop techniques or make discoveries that enable you to bring a greater understanding once shared with the community. I realize new things all the time that noone else has shared, and at my age i have to utilise every 2 seconds i can save. again keep going, stay awesome!

I wish I could see what he did, but I forgot where I put my glasses. (Here thanks to PF Chang's Mongolian Beef Recipe. I don't know what they did there either.) Loved the music. It made me want to put on a loincloth and race a pack of wolves and then suddenly stop on the edge of a cliff and stare out in awe as the sun rose or set over the vast land of my ancestors and then down in triumph at the wolf who was about to pass me but didn't see the cliff, so did, in fact, pass me, and is now running with my ancestors, who never saw the cliff either. For that reason alone I should go find my glasses. But mainly I want to know what this young man did besides play peek-a-boo and then blackjack and then stand up and hug boys and high-five girls, which I've only ever heard of them doing in Korea and San Francisco, never Mongolia, but I think is very prudent. I nonetheless salute his achievement, whatever it was, and thank anyone reading this for their patience - first with all that wolf stuff, which probably should have come with a trigger warning - no actual wolves or ancestors were harmed - promise - and of course, for the loincloth, which I'm pretty sure I have on backward, because it's not nearly as supportive as I'd thought it would be in the places I'd thought it would be. If I find my glasses I'll re-read the instructions. (And will assume that the comment below from 11pupona - "one of the most impressive things I've ever seen" - is in reference to something else.) Good day to you all.

I actaully think it is possible with memory techniques. If you translate the cards to pictures without saying the pictures mentally I think this is doable with lots of pratice. Alex mullen memorized a deck in 15 seconds with a 2 card system.

It's a scam, why? because the human brain can't process many pictures under a second, if a professional memory athlete wants to memorize a deck of cards in the best position they can see 4 cards with their eyes in a second and needs a second to imagine those in a place which we can say 2 seconds for 4 cards, and we use our hands to see cards, Now 2*13 = 26 seconds for 52cards, Fastest time can be 26sec for 52 cards for someone who trained his memory for more than 15 years like O'Brien. It is Impossible under 26sec. How he can see and memorize many cards at the same time in milliseconds 🤭 maybe he came from mars.
@nikotwentytravel Жыл бұрын
You are wrong, this is definitely possible for the elite of memory champions. He is watching cards 3 by 3 and he saw them so many times than he almost see 3 cards as if it was only 1. That's why he can go way faster
