My 'Items to put away' basket is small enough to fill in a few days... so I will actually put stuff away 😋. I like how your routine is centered on the client impression 😃 It got me thinking, they might be interested in my life but I don't think they want to see my projects shoved in the corner 😏 so I designated bins and have several more put away baskets. I like it so far :)

I also use pre-empt. It is a hospital grade sterilization and decontamination system and I love it! Love watching watch you clean/organize videos😊
@GlitteredPonyNails7 жыл бұрын
Here is something new I learned a couple of months ago. Low Level disinfection is the minimum requirement to be classified as Hospital Grade. Preempt CS20 is more then a hospital grade. Preempt CS20 is a High Level Disinfectant and Sterilization. Lots of home cleaning products are registered as Low Level Hospital Grade disinfectants.

Could you maybe one day do a more tech-style video about how you set up your gear for your overhead shots that we usually see in your swatch videos when you show us new gel colors? And maybe things like what gear you use and where you got it from? I'd find that very interesting. ☺

First let me say that your home studio is amazing! You have so many things in a limited space and it is well organized. I know you recently moved to a new space (I actually seen that video before this one) however even this space amazes me. You said that you only work one day a week, I was wondering how long have you been doing nails? Your organization and routine is super inspirational!

Baby is totally not an excuse for not getting something done. It's just as valid of a reason as having to work outside the house full time, if someone is sick, if you break a leg and can't do it. They are more work than non baby people even realize. It took me more than a year after my first to come to grips with that. She's priority and a lot of time you just cannot physically do something because you're taking care of her. I have 2 now and trust me when I say the work doesn't double, it quadruples! You're doing a fantastic job!
@destinystopcoatnailzandlashes7 жыл бұрын
Christina Matzen did you mean totally IS an excuse, from the way im reading it
@TaliasNailStudio7 жыл бұрын
Ha ha I hope you mean is an excuse :P It’s funny because I have all these good intentions to get projects done, I get the supplies plan it all out, then the next thing I know 2 months have gone by and I have yet to still complete it! Then there are some days where I’m like screw it, I’m doing nothing but hanging out with Rose. Its the strangest balancing act I’ve ever tried to accomplish!

Talia's Nail Tales - Classic. I get all rabid "defend the fellow mommy from her own negative self talk!!" and have a Freudian slip! I know exactly how you feel. You're on FB, you know how it shows you things like "on this day" from your previous years on FB? My oldest is now 8 1/2 and it showed me a picture from today 6 years ago and I sat down and cried because it seems like so long ago. At the time (she was 11 months old) when I left my awesome job to be a stay at home mom I thought I was being so stupid. Now I'm so grateful I had those moments. So many dishes went unwashed, floors unswept, clothes unfolded but I remember her shrieking "Mee Mew!" Every time Mickey Mouse came on and when she would pat me and say "Yub mom mom mom" and dive into me head first for a hug. Those are the important things and you're getting them all 😀

I love geting new ideas on how other people do things and also reinforcing the things I do the same, even the simple things! Im not sure your desk needs too much RE-organization, I love the setup, but cant wait to see the review and haul videos! LOVE those! P.S. YOU ARE FREAKING ADORABLE!! LOVE the hair,makeup AND your clothing style. TFS XO

I just ran across your videos and I am binge watching them. Can you tell me the name of your baby monitor? I get what you mean about not getting projects done. My dad who has dementia lives with us and there isn't an ounce of time to start or finish anything. Just when I think I will have an hour to organize something, I have to stop and attend to him. Not complaining as We are happy to care for him, just saying there is no time leftover.
