Why was the P-51 chrome? Also the bell jet but literally half of the German planes and almost all British planes are missing. What about the P-38, Mosquito, Fw-190. I also argue the 163 doesn't count because it's not sustained speed it's a glider after the rocket burns out. If you count the 163 than you need to count the V2.

The clip is very unspecific, not mentioning which version it describes. For example, first A6M Zeroes had a cruising speed of ca. 500 km/h. The one on the movie is probably the latest one - A6M5 (first, widely produced was A6M2). Same goes for Spitfires, which had over 14 versions, and Me/Bf 109s, which had at least 7 versions. I don't have such in-depth knowledge, to judge all the planes, but please be specific in the future, especially in the era of online games, which try to be pretty acurate with the technicalities.

Also many of these planes had variations over the years with very different performance. In the battle's thunder, hear their engines scream, Warplanes in the sky, chasing freedom's dream. Dogfights over Europe, in the blazing sun, Ace pilots in their Spitfires, the fight had just begun. In the cold Siberian winds, the Yak-9 took its stand, With courage and conviction, they defended their homeland. Wings of steel and hearts of fire, Through the storm, they climb higher. In the battle's thunder, hear their engines scream, Warplanes in the sky, chasing freedom's dream. From Pearl Harbor's ashes to Berlin's final night, B-17s and Lancasters, a relentless, valiant flight. On the decks of carriers, Corsairs took to the sky, Heroes in their warbirds, never questioned why. In the dust of desert sands, the P-40 flew, With the Flying Tigers, they turned the skies to blue. Over Iwo Jima’s beaches, the Mustangs cleared the way, For the hope of peace tomorrow, they fought the war today. Wings of steel and hearts of fire, Through the storm, they climb higher. In the battle's thunder, hear their engines scream, Warplanes in the sky, chasing freedom's dream. So remember those who flew, where angels fear to tread, Warplanes of World War II, and the blood that they shed. I don't entirely agree with the Korean War planes comparison. F-86 Sabre, Mig-15, Hawker Sea Fury, F7F Tigercat, and A-1 Skyraider look legit cool. If we include any airplane that was intended for Korea but didn't get the chance, then there's the F9F-8 Cougar, FJ-2 Fury, F4D Skyray, and A-3 Skywarrior. I also like how Sea Venom and Sea Vixen look even if kept out of the Korean War.

Excellent work, but you will nail it with their correct engine sounds

Superb stuff! Can we have actual engine sounds, pls? 😅 Would love to hear the Merlins scream in the Spitfires. 😊

Very nice work! Nice use of Static Camera, please use this more often for Speed Comparisons, it gives you that real sense of Speed and the Fly By Camera is great as well.
