This is such a unique idea!! A couple books that remind me of the Helen Hoover book are The Comfort of Crows: A Backyard Year by Margaret Renkl and The Backyard Bird Chronicles by Amy Tan. I haven’t read them, but they seem really sweet and connect to nature.

The Chinese Shawl is a good one. I enjoy Patricia Wentworth’s Miss Silver series. Lonesome Road is a good one too.

This is a fun concept! I’m a big believer in going into books as blind as possible. If I see a book review that I like I add it to my tbr and wait to purchase it until I forget what it’s about. If I pick it up from a book store it’s either because it’s in the genre I enjoy reading or the cover got my attention.

I think this is a really fun idea!! I'm especially intrigued by the Firefly Diaries book. I really enjoyed The Hound of the Baskervilles, but I read it many years ago and can't remember much about it!

I like that the speed dating process is done in a mindful, specific way. Yes, I'm going to do this. I have way too many books sitting unread on my in-real-life bookshelves and on virtual bookshelves. I also have too many books that I've read and I've kept, but if I'm honest with myself, I'll never read them again. Thanks for a great video.

I love this concept - very unique and I can see others co-opting your idea. It was a lot of fun to see how each contestant fared. Hope you do it again sometime. Grace to the Finish was the last of the series. It was an ok series for me but I really loved her White House Chef series.

I like the Manor House series, but you know me and in order...lol. I need to get back to that and finish out the last like 3 I think is what I have left. I thought The Hounds of the Baskervilles was okay but I listened to it so that might have helped lol. Fun video! Now we need a video to see if you dumped one...lol.

I recently read The Hound of the Baskervilles and did enjoy it. It was a very old copy I found at a thrift store and had a lot of illustrations, which I enjoyed; however, the book literally was coming apart as I read it! I'm a new subscriber to your channel and enjoy your reviews and conversation.

Tammy, great video! I was so excited to hear your take on Hounds of the Baskerville. I had to read it for 10 grade English and hated it. To me it was boring and I love UK mysteries. And as a side note our teacher insisted on reading a chapter in class aloud too. But Mrs Murray insisted on reading it with a pretend Irish accent, ugh! 😂 I have put The Summer of a Thousand Pies on my list😊❤
