Speed Duel Flame Wingman OTK Deck Profile April 2022

Todays build is the first in a long series of new speed duel decks that I will feature on this channel, and I could think of no deck more iconic than a Flame Wingman otk. I do hope you all enjoy this, and of course, I hope you all have a great day,

You may like the deck I'm currently working on for common charity/ advanced format then. The did just release favorite hero as a common in the legendary duelist remix packs so a proper flame wingman deck is in the near future.

We need Tempest, Mariner, Electrum and Mudballman. My foils for Sparkman beats need to come in the mail already. Wish I got the had the og art secret rare sparks. At least the ultra art from starter deck is good. Speed Duels desperately needs a secret rare set that's just staple basic cards of characters. A Speed Duel Mega Tin sounds like a great product. A GX themed character tin run would be great for collectors. Each tin has 3-5 packs plus a secret rare promo unique to that tin. Jaden- Tempest or Evil Hero A.Gold/Dark Fusion Zane- Power Pond or Secret Rare Proto Cyber Dragon Jesse- Rainbow Neos Yubel- Yubel- or Neos Kluger Chazz- V-Z Armed Dragon Fusion Brodie- Idk volcanics so dealers choice. Alexis deserves a tin too. Maybe 2 Tins for each dorm color? Base set could includes like Secret rare Ojama pieces Normal secret rare e heroes Alexis Cyber Blader monsters Secret rare magnet warrior? Fossils and his character getting a green tin if they do rainbow assortment of tins which would slap.

@Casual Duelist - a follow-up question re. this deck (the one my young duelist uses and loves most) on behalf of my young duelist: say the extra deck keeps the 3 x Flame Wingman, but we do as you say/suggest and put in 3 non-hero fusions (on the assumption we have a side deck with Waking the Dragon)…here’s the question - what other three fusion monsters do you ideally put in the extra deck, and what’s your ideal side deck (and there’s no constraints such as only using GX cards since we’re going to try and find all the cards that you suggest)?

My basic build would work here. A copy of thousand eyes restrict, blue eyes ultimate, 2 ojama king and drop flame wingman to 2. It's good to have the biggest possible card, the vacuum cleaner, and the one that says no monster zones lol. Otherwise use cyber end instead of blue eyes and drop one copy of king for a cyber blader as they could be great budget options from the gx box.

@@CasualDuelist Sorry, last follow-up question (as I am being asked questions by my young duelist that I cannot confidently answer). Maybe this doesn't even make sense as a question, but let's say we played round 1 without using any of the side deck (that is, no Waking the Dragon and no Lost Wind...but having the extra deck be a combo of 2 x Flame Wingman and the 4 other Fusion monsters you laid out a few comments directly above) and we (sadly) lost. Going into round 2, what exact cards (and how many of them) would you (all things being equal) take out of the main deck to make room for the Waking the Dragon/Lost Wind cards? That is, in short, how would you (in general) swap in the Waking the Dragon/Lost Wind cards that are now in the side deck?
