Dont underestimate giving invulnerable saves to a full squad of 6 deffkoptas. They also have great shooting and pass over mortal wounds.

Everything about this Detachment shouts: Fun to Play - WAAAGH! I'd be cackling with glee while moving or shooting any one of these units. It's a shame the other Ork Flyers don't seem as viable, but I think new synergies will be discovered for them. The Warbikers combined with the DeffKoptas are a force to be reckoned with while your enemy is being getting strafed by DakaJets and harassed by the various Buggies. *In this list, where is the transport (Battlewagom or Truck for the Warboss in MegaArmor and 5 MegaNobz?

Isn't the wazbomb blastajet also good? It hits on 4+ which is better than most orks.

I'm gonna run this detachment in a day or two, even though I have no fliers and no buggies lol. Just wanna try it. Hopefully my deffkoptas and bikers with wartrike can do some work and make up for it. (Plus, my opponent is new to the game. I didn't feel the need to be competitive)

Do the flying units of the Evil Sons go faster than ground units? Or are they about the same? Like the MegaTrack Scrapjet. Is it faster as a car or a plane?

Yes, the planes are crazy fast! They all have a 20" minimum movement. The Megatrakk Scrapjet would be way faster as a plane. Unfortunately, it's not worth taking even in this detachment.
