At least, this kids are not hanging around and looking 10 hours straight tic toc…..Wish my parents had the financial background to support me in karting or bikes. Great documentary !

my dad used to build racing bikes and karts for clients, but we never could afford to race ourselves. My 2 brothers and I would love to have had a chance, at least we could go and help break in the new engines, driving around on the street....

There is something so cute seeing little ones walking around in full race suits wobbling around off down towards the track.

It's all over the country mate. In fact all over the world. Buy a MCN and get some information. In the NW of England for example it happens at Three Sisters.

This was truly an awesome video to showcase the passion, determination, and hardships these young racers endure. Young Peter looks like he could be the face of a top tier racing team. He has that smile that you can tell he loves to race and it’s what makes him happy. Page and all the other young ladies is what every sport needs. To keep the boys on their toes cuz it’s not the bike it’s the rider. Keep it up ladies. And little Max, I say in another year or so he will break out of being shy and could be the next great with the right support. I love racing and these kids and young adults are the future of racing.

From personal experience you know when they've have had enough, they dont want to say so in words but as a parent you can see it in their riding that the fire has gone out unfortunately some parents can't accept this because they have invested a lot of time and money in their child in the hope they make it, very few do

Unfortunately there is no safety advancement that can prevent a rider who falls being hit by a following bike its just the way it is racers understand this risk . You either race or you dont its pretty black and white .
@supaquickgpr21 күн бұрын
Yes that's an easy decision to make for an adult but not so sure about young kids. There is a lot of pressure on them to progress, to push themselves and to ride faster bikes and they are well below the age where they can make their own legal decisions. It is quite often (but not the dads vicariously living their dreams through their children too. Some of the bikes featured on the video and definitely the moto3 bikes are not toys either, they are very quick and quite hard for an adult to ride fast. I'm not saying this as a spoil sport but as someone who raced on the road races with Paul Robinson etc on 125s but this was mainly in my 20s. I remember one time at the Ulster GP when the race was stopped and some of us were pulled into a junction. My dad was watching in the paddock, didn't know what had happened and thought I might have crashed. Some one died that year too. My dad was all over the place. At the time, I just wanted him to get me more fuel to top up for the restart but, to see him so worried was not good at all and did make me think a bit. I'm not sure I want my daughter to to do the sport at least until she's old enough to decide whether to do it herself.
@bodasafur607821 күн бұрын
@@supaquickgpr yes i agree with all that , but it still whichever way you look at or frame it whether its the kids or adults choosing there is an inherent risk that cannot be mitigated and it comes down to one simple choice choose or be allowed to race or dont .i really dont see any other way around it other than singular riders on track doing time trials but then zero racecraft is learned . Its tough .
