this is the first time I record from I sketched - lineart it - and colored it :p

Yes, it is definitely ease of use, but SAI has more clear pixels than PS. The only tool to ever combat this are Illust Studio and the other -Studio tools. It's recommended that people do lineart in SAI and color said lineart in PS or IllustStudio.

if you haven't use to with your tablet, it's still hard also, I always sketch the art in paper then scan it you still need skill and knowlegde to use tablet don't think use that will become that easy

I think you need to download it in other site, looks like the site when you downloaded it isn't complete much people asked me about this, but the first time I get SAI, I get shade mode and lumi&shade mode

because this is version 1.1.0, the one you use is probably 1.0.0 or 1.0.1, they also have a very slight difference in appearence, also, I think only this version can export png. pictures with clear background

I think it's up to anyone him self which programm he uses. It's not about what the programms can, it's about what the artist can. And maybe if you start painting with SAI, because its better to handle for beginners, as you said, you just don't get used to learn drawing in PS. That's my problem ^^; I dont like the way the tools work in PS or gimp, so I draw in SAI. It doesn't matter how or where it's drawn, the matter is how it looks when it's finnished.

You can still draw with PS,I used to draw with it,but your right,PS is used for adding effects and such.Paint Tool sai was made for drawing.
