Smth that I haven’t seen anyone else point out yet is how her husband is literally digging his claws in to pinks side. It’s a small detail but to me at least added a lot more to this art. Loved this speed paint a lot

You know, Pink is always a character that makes me feel unease because she remembers me of my ex boyfriend who also suffered from sexual abuse.. and now look at him, he transformed himself to another person, just like Pink. Great work as always Victaton, love your projects and how they made me realize a lot of things in my life. 💜

My groomer has suffered a sexual abuse in the past when she was 12 and took them the same way Pink took, so I feel the same about her too, she reminds me a lot of HER.

@rottenbrown1eok I’m sorry but I’ve been through the same exact experience and I get what you mean.. my ex tries to play the victim and say I s/a’d her but I was 2 years younger and had never been in a relationship before ..while my ex had been in 5 already (that’s where she got s/a’d and therefore reminds me of pink) it irritates me how she doesn’t see her flaws..and when she was called out for grooming she put the blame on me and say I forced her to do it. I was younger then her..I only copied her behaviors and so when she s/a’d me I blindly reciprocated but it was clear I was uncomfortable..sigh..I love blue’s story 😞 but pink hits too close to home 😞

It is really difficult to talk about victims turned into abusers because of their shady pasts, but not to avoid feeling...anger...rejection...pain for them, for the damage that they now cause, but also for could not be. But it's even harder for everyone to agree on... What should we really feel o think about them?

Maybe it's how their abuser break their sense of empathy and emotional need to understand others so they don't ask for help For pinks case she probably knows she's forceful but doest see it as SA Or maybe she knows shes abusive and wants the lustfull attraction she never got from her husband so she forces it onto blue I feel bad for her but she should be punished for her actions and for her husband an even worse one knowing Knowing he's a pastor and pink would play it off as some affair they won't be

At the end of the day, we're all people, and I personally try to apply this outlook to every person, no matter what horrible act they've done. I don't like dismissing bad people as "Oh, I'd never do that because I am a good person who does good things" because I honestly think we can all do horrific stuff to others when we're pushed hard enough. It's good to acknowledge this, both to be sympathetic to people who might need it and to humble yourself into not accidently becoming the person you said you'd never be. In the case of victims turning into abusers, I feel like it's not hard to see the logic of someone who's been beaten down for their entire life suddenly wanting others to feel that exact helplessness they had felt, especially when the victim now has gained control over others. People want control over something they had no control over back then. Of course, I don't think any victim-to-abuser story is this simple, but having control over abuse (in this case, the victim being the one who controls the abuse) is a common factor and is something that I think can be understood by many people, even if you wouldn't personally go to such lengths to maintain control. Edit: Obligatory "no i am not condoning abuse just because the abuser was a victim. however, it's very useful to know WHY people do the things they do"

I was listening to Mitski even before I heard of Blue Story.. but since those videos? I can only hear Pink's life within those lyrics.. And, "I know who you pretend I am" being Blue.. but, not only "normal" blue.. every shade/version of Blue is represented.. Pink putting her suffering onto Blue hurts..

I was surprised when I saw the HiPaint logo at all! Let alone create a masterpiece like this one as my experience with HiPaint was pretty negative due to the lag and limiting features, so I was set aback by your sheer skills and patience to draw on there. Glad it didn't crashed or erased your progress (didn't experience that myself), but the outcome of this piece is amazing!!

It's a GOOD DAY today I am basking in the Pink content BLESS Okay I’ve finally collected my thoughts here’s my ideas on this First and foremost, I find the song choices used here particularly interesting, especially “Me and my Husband”. The use of “Me and my Husband” here feels like a subtle reference to how early on in Pink’s relationship with her husband, she may have idolized him and romanticized their relationship. This is often something seen in victims of manipulation and grooming, as the emotional manipulation they’re under leads them to believe and think things that may cater towards and idolize the person grooming them. That’s the phenomenon I feel the use of this song is trying to portray. However, “Me and my Husband” soon fades out and is replaced by “Washing Machine Heart”, which is a nice callback to some art made earlier on in this series’ development. I think the use of this song is meant to portray Pink’s desperation and sorrow as she begins to realize that her relationship is not what she was manipulated to believe. The placement of certain lyrics like “kiss me already” and “heart” could be a signifier of this, that behind the darkness of how she feels she still craves and maybe even hopes for her relationship to be what was promised to her. This also ties into the lyrics “I know who you pretend I am” supposedly being spoken by Blue to Pink. Before Pink’s megalomaniac-esque desperation for sexual power, Pink likely was using her affair with Blue as a method of escapism from her marriage, imagining herself to be truly having the life she was promised. This desperation for what she wanted may have even been a driving factor in the mental decline to the version of Pink we see in the present day. I’m gonna go sob now

Everytime i see a character thats an "abused-to-abused" i cant help but hate them and pity them as the same time. On one side, theyre still abusers. They hurt people and have terrible intentions, and there is absolute no excuse for that. They deserve to be judged for their actions. On the other, its terrible to think that these people wouldnt hurt others if they werent hurt in the past. At one point they were a decent human being as everyone else, until some horrible person decided to ruin them. If it wasnt for that person, they would probably still be a decent person and not hurt others the same way. I hate them, but they also makes me wish it was posible to go back in time to stop them from becoming victims in the first place and save them from that destiny...
