if you pause at 13:54, that rippled, worn look that the tape gives the armour panels is actually sweet. i wonder if you could rely on the tape to actually hold, or if it would work on surfaces that were more flat like most armour panels.

Btw, I painted my plague Marines roughly according to your scheme and they came out great! I really struggled with working through large amounts of mini's (painting Orks does that to you!) But your scheme and tutorials made painting a ton of fun! Now I have something to do during quarentine! I hope you both stay healthy during these weird times!

I'm actually slowly building up my ork army with a magenta pink and cyan colour scheme and loving it so far. Hey guys I'm just love your vids, and I'm have a small idea, here in Spain a group of people unite to make 3d prints to make covers for masks in hospitals.... I don't know how in England will be but here govement say one thing and people live another different (for example médics don't have enough resources) so I think that probalbly if you guys or you know people "arrond you" or close to make that 3d prints probalbly helps a lot in your hospitals and stuff.... Just please stay alive becuz I'm luv you both so much XD this is one of my favorite minis channel ^^

Scraping those mold lines on the long and flat surfaces is very satisfying to me, but I agree about the ones on the details. Small model files save lives.

@@MidwinterMinis I've found that mold lines on details like the nuts, bolts, plasma coils disappear with a little bit of the plastic cement, it melts them away without damaging the details.....great video as always, stay safe you two, I'm in the essential category also (repair medical equip) so my grey pile of shame is still here :(

I've always wanted a stompa but could never shake the feeling that i could just bodge one together. Orks are an awesome army that way, you can just build away and not worry about making it look pretty, symmetrical or polished. That being said yours turned out great! Can't wait to see it in combat! Great result... I have never used stripping as a substitute for highlighting / drybrushing but always used it for weathering. That looks like a 2in1 method, will certainly try this...
