Question, you think you might do some Death Core Of Krieg speed paints in the near future or maybe even some Cadian speed paints? The Astra Militarium doesn't get enough love in my humble opinion. Tons of painting tutorials for Astartes chapters, Titans, Knights, Chaos Marines and a ton of Daemon and tank tutorials, but not a lot of PDF guardsman stuff out there. Now that I think about it, I'd love to see a series of Armageddon Steel Legion videos. Those guys were bad ass slaughtering tons of The Beasts nobs from his super sized wog. ..... ....... .......... I watch to much 40K lore videos :P

By far my favourite Blackstone Fortress model. Really nice tip for highlighting muscle, I can’t wait till I get my own Chaos Ogryn to try it. I’d probably take longer than 70mins though

Nice format. I like speed painting. The most difficult thing also for me is, how to choose the colours. I dont like that much the spiky green you choosed for the pants. It catches a little bit the viewers eye. It should have been darker to bring the viewers eye up the the face (which is very nice!). And I would have choosen for example a dark pink/redish colour for the pants. This is the complementary colour on the colour wheel opposide the skin colour. This would have been a nicer match. But anyway, very good job in the short time!! I really like the rust, I always do too much of that xD I still need to learn that "less is more"..

I think I remember seeing that in order to make spikes or other thin bits more durable, you straight up snap them off and make a casting of them in some low temperature metal and then stick the new piece onto the model. Or like Plasmo you just electro etch something on brass foil. Or make it out of Greenstuff.

I was wondering, do you know how safe citadel paints and sprays are? I’ve been searching around but the spray cans don’t have any form of contents or whatever, so I was just wondering if you knew? Don’t worry, I’m not trying to cover the fact that I’ve actually chugged a load of paint or something, I’m just curious. lol even though I haven’t done anything massively dangerous I should be still be way more safe and wear a mask when using my sprays though. Anyway, that mini looks awesome, I have no idea how you paint so fast though. I am proud of the couple minis I’ve done but yeah they take me eons, because I have kind of trembly hands so I have to redo them a lot. The fact that I’m a perfectionist when it comes to painting also doesn’t help I wouldn’t think. I really like painting anyway though :p Final thing, thanks for not putting ads on the channel, that’s really nice of you :> Final final thing (yes I’m aware this is like an extended oxymoron): Dammit let the Tau win for once xD (I collect Tau and my heart is broken that they’ve been smashed by your damn space marines every single time)

Sprays as all aerosols should be sprayed outside or in well ventilated room. Citadel states their paints are non toxic

I assume you haven't hopped onto the contrast bandwagon to keep the blackstone fortress set consistent? Have you tried them? They seem interesting but fiddly and inconsistent accross the colors.

Yup, just the one colour. The original khaki tan colour - Zandri Dust, thinned with water :)
