Learn a high-efficiency, low-drag way to paint up Black Powder (by Warlord Games) Napoleonic Russian Pavlovsk Grenadiers.
I was very excited to work on these, since most of my Napoleonic Russian army is a VERY uniform dark green and white paint scheme. I found these imperial guardsmen and their unique mitre caps a joy to paint. And I hope this guide helps you have fun painting up these excellent elite troops as well.

One trick I have recently learned with flags is to put a layer of aluminium kitchen foil between the two halves of the paper. It helps the flags to retain their shape. Best to use a clear glue like UHU. Warspite

Awesome paint tutorial sir. Please tell me are these figures 1/72scal figures from Italeri, and secondly what drying time do you allow the figures to dry after each application. Again an awesome tutorial. Many thanks.

As for drying time, the only step that requires maybe 1 hour of drying is the primer. You don’t want to start painting until the primer is dry. But after that there’s almost no waiting time. Since I was working on 24-48 models at a time, once I finish one color on the last model, the first one I painted is already dry. So I just keep going. It’s one of the best things about batch painting. You don’t have to wait for each paint application to dry.

Thank you very much for your reply. I am gearing up to begin getting back into my 1/72 Airfix,Revell, and Italeri Napoleonics. I have never employed your approach but it is worth a try. Again fellow hobbyist thanks.
