Nice! Could I ask you: what kind of paper towel do you use? I mean the blue one. It looks like it works well to set the brush for drybrushing, which I always struggle with with common paper towels.

Great question - I covered those in a past video about my favorite hobby products. It's a thicker, lint-free paper towel that's sold in the auto parts section of my local grocery stores (in the US). You can also find them at auto parts stores, like Advance (again, in the US). The ones I have are made by Scott and are just called "Shop Towels". You can find them online, but they're a good bit cheaper in person.

I think people underestimate how good opaque paints are at speed painting. Mostly what people are doing with speed paints is applying a quick base coat, which you can easily do with high-quality opaques. I really like Vallejo's extra opaque, but I'm going to be gnashing at the teeth to try the new Fanatic paints.

Yeah, I'm excited about those too. I have the full Vallejo "heavy" set, but don't end up using them as often these days, since getting the Pro-Acryl range. Most PA paints cover almost as well as the heavy Vallejos and are easier to work with. There's a couple that I still pull out sometimes.

I love the heavy valejos, alot depends on what you can get locally/semi locally, brands other than citadel, AP, and vallejo I have to order, still have to drive an hr to get vallejo game color.

Number 2 is good, maybe combine it with the lighter skin of number 3 so his little face pops out of the hood:)

Yeah, I agree. I think a combination of white and black base coats might be the best option. Probably faster to prime black, then paint the face and hands a lighter color than priming white and painting the robes black.

Liking your channel's energy! You may want to run noise reduction over your audio, in audacity or in your editor, there is a fairly big background hiss on yours videos. Cheers
